Houston Rodeo and Livestock show starts today! Yee Haw! Time to pull out the boots - We're going tomorrow - not a big country music fan - but, Trisha Yearwood is the featured entertainer...
Hi Monica! I grew up outside of Houston and use to love going to the Rodeo. It's not always country sometimes there is a little bit rock and roll :rotfl: Yes, I saw Donnie and Marie Osmond there :rotfl: It was a lot of family fun. Enjoy!

We have found that our DVD recorder has to be updated when we switch to and from Daylight savings time. We've recorded much junk too, and missed shows we really wanted to see. Does the Tivo have the same problem?

Tea on Thursday would be fun! But I didn't see any tea reservations available yesterday morning. What time are you going, Pam?

No - with TIVO - you can get a season pass for a show - and it will record only that show - no matter what time/channel etc...... You specify new showings, all showings, etc... As long as the cable company updates their guide - then the service TIVO uses for data is updated too......

An unexpected T.O.P. with Diana and TIVO!!!!! Happens when I open a page for a quote and finish reading to make sure that nobody had answered etc....

Thanks... not so much a 'bad' day... just crazy! My biggest event of the year is this weekend, so I'm getting into crunch time...

Comedians. Nope, they don't make them anymore. They're from the 50s or so, and they have a piece of elastic in the arch so they stay on the foot. A good idea, actually. Don't know why they don't use the design anymore:

Were you expecting something other than sarcasm from us? :confused3 :stir::confused3 Surely you have us confused with someone else.

I would like to join the ladies tea too, so if enough places are available, please let me know. I have been before, so if someone has not, they certainly should take preference. I am surprised that the reservations for tea are gone. I have been 3 times I think and each time the restaurant has been very empty.

Web Page Update!

I've got some updates to the web page done. Got a photo from Susan (armyfam) so come and meet her family. Also got some Paul (goingthedistance) and Jeri (Juletime) So be sure and come and meet their families as well.

Last, but by no means least, I have a pdf of the order form for the shirts and bags up on the site. Please direct any questions on the ordering process to Pam. A great big thanks to both Pam and Maria for doing all the work on the shirts and bags!

Mary - Awesome job. It is so great to have the order form on your site so that everyone has access to it. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you:worship:

Oh no, I can't believe we missed this opportunity!

Happy belated Birthday, Jim!

We'be been down here for 10 years and go to the livestock show often. When we go to the rodeo, we usually don't stay for the concert...I enjoy the rodeo portion...Sacrilidge to not stay, I'm sure but, oh well...Going again with John's work on the 10th - I have to look to see who's playing - The "headline" pop star again this year is Hillary Duff - And yet again this year, I've neglected to tell my dd8 she's appearing...Bad mom... ;)

Edit to add forgot to add the quote from Julestimes...
