Are you guys planning to stay at the port following breakfast? I was thinking we may want to have breakfast around 8:30...that way we would not have to spend sooo much idle time at the port.

Back to Avis and Grills. When we dropped off at Avis at 10 am before the 10 day it was crowded but not too bad. The shuttle waited for us.


I think a group reservation at Grills would be great. Who wants to organize?

I'd like to dedicate this milestone to OM for blabbing right along with me upping the post count...Now I can say I got something accomplished today!!!!

You have a good point there; plus, they may not let you into the port if you get there TOO early!

Still, I'd rather have an early breakfast -- have to make sure I'm hungry again for that great buffet when we board the Magic!!!

When we got to the Member cruise before they opened up the parking lot they had us wait in the vendor lot and we had another mini-meet. We're all about the mini meets!

We'll have to allow plenty of time at the restaurant - to be considerate of our servers and kitchen staff - feeding a group isn't a quick process...

I'm leaning more to taking the rental car to the port...BUT, how bad will it be at the Avis office when we return the car at 10:00? Any one have thoughts, ideas, suggestions...?

The shuttle bus worked great for our entire family (with 10 bags, we don't pack light!). Return the car the night before, so your morning is wake up, eat, get on the shuttle. IMHO
