Good Morning - We are back - having had a most wonderful time at WDW....


Victoria and Albert's was wonderful and impressive as ever. There was the incident of wiping the windows off many pressed nose smudges....I ignored the comments of the Butler's.


Friday night was California Grill - excellent as well....Sat. we explored Sea World and Sunday, we attend late Mass and Walked around Epcot.


I'll try to scan the menu's later. We were thinking of Lisa, must check to see how she did.

The details are Lisa had a great meet. She was first on the Bars, Second on the Beam and the Vault and Third on the Floor. Also, she was 2nd on the all around. Everyone in my section of the stadium thought that her floor routine should have been scored higher than she received. It was a good score, but we all thought it was a great routine (I of course am prejudiced. But, since everyone else does not know her and they were saying that, it might be true!!!).

Yep...I saw that Cheshire Cat. I may need to adopt it back. I may end up strangling the cheer coach. The girls had a 6 a.m. practice yesterday, then left school early for a competition...they got back to school at about 7:45 pm.
Today, they had to be at school at 1:00 to practice, left the school at 3:00 for a competition, and won't be home until 9 pm. I'm hoping she found out today that those girls are exhausted. One passed out and was taken to the hospital, Jordan got dizzy, collapsed & is vomiting and another girl fell and twisted her knee.

Poor kids...I hope since you posted Jordon as had time to sleep and rest.

Sitting at the school, waiting for the team to get back. Jordan was in tears still...when she called the second time. I really hope the coach doesn't try to talk to me.
My mom called today & I knew by the tone of her voice that it wasn't good. My niece, Lindsey has a half sister...her Mom's from her second marriage...the sister has a 3 yr old little girl. The little one was visiting her other Grandma & their house burned down. Isabella (3) died in the fire. Seems like one bad thing after another.
Ohminnie....still praying!

How tragic - we are sendig prayers your way, and for the family....

I cannot specify the exact reasoning right now, but if you are so inclined, please pray for our family. I know that God will know our needs and your intent. Right now pray for discernment and peace....hopefully next for thanksgiving, but we'll have to wait and see.

Good morning everyone. I'm soooo excited! 18 more weeks!!!

Today is my big guy, AJ's 10th birthday!!! Double digits. There's no turning back now. We'll be going out for dinner tonight and probably a run to Toys R Us....to exchange some of those Jeffrey Dollars(aka gift certificates) for something great. He already had a party last weekend with his friends. Not much family around to party with.

I can just see it now... filling out my 'special event request' to get the Clydesdales (yes, we can request them... for things like the Super Bowl, the Daytona 500, etc.)

Special Event: Double Scoop Cruise (huh?)
Estimated Attendance: 78 Double Scoopers (usually need a crowd of at least 50,000 to get them)

Now, once we GET them, we have to STABLE them and FEED them (and their crew)... Hey Scuba, can the clydesdales stay in your pool house???

And in terms of scooping... those guys are called the 'ecology unit'... how'd ya like THAT on your business card????

Saw the Clydesdales at SeaWorld - Bud, Prince and the litle mule in the Superbowl commercial.....

Can you request the special sooper unit that follows the horses on the parade route - that might help with clean-up....

Must go and unpack and clean up after the cats. Unlike Molly they will eat anything the neighbor gives them. I have to place them on a diet each time we return.....

Karen (OM) - you mentioned that you saw the DVC Welcome Home Magnets on your recent cruise. Someone on the SSMC06 thread just came back from a Magic cruise and said those were put up by the DVC folks on the first night on rooms booked with points. Guess we won't be seeing them on the May cruise as we booked with cash but maybe we can stop by the DVC desk and get some.

Services for Jay's mom have finally been arranged. Stupid BIL....not too on-the-ball, that guy. They will be NEXT Saturday, the 28th. As much as I hate to see that day come, Jay needs the closure. Wish it were a little sooner.

Still can't decide if we are having a Superbowl Party for a few friends....Not too excited about the teams (sorry .bout that!). We will see.

I saw that one, too. I would LOVE a casino on the cruise. But, I guess it doesn't go with the Disney image. Like one poster said, it doesn't have to be a "smokey" room. I think I'm in the minority on that post. I was thinking of posting, but changed my mind.
