We had a minimeet with Fran and family last night at Tony's in MK. That is the first time I have felt totally out of place at a DCL minimeet.

The topic of conversation was gymnastics. I learned more about gymnastics then I ever wanted to know and things Sharon did not want me to know (Thanks Fran).

After the meet we stayed for Wishes. Finally got to see it when it was not pouring rain. That is a great show.

What great weather we had this weekend!!! Spent most of the day yesterday at the "Souper Bowl", a street festival in the small historic downtown area where I work... ate our way down the Boulevard, even though it was a little warm for soup weather. It's for a charity that I am on the Board of... it's always a lot of fun, and REALLY great food!!!!

Today, Ray had his first (and only) day off in weeks, so we went out on the motorcycle for a few hours this afternoon. Gotta love it when its almost 80 in January. While we were out, the kids went in the pool for the first time this year. (And I DIDN'T want to move here????)

We are back. Lisa did great. Second place over all. Sharon will post all the details.

The details are Lisa had a great meet. She was first on the Bars, Second on the Beam and the Vault and Third on the Floor. Also, she was 2nd on the all around. Everyone in my section of the stadium thought that her floor routine should have been scored higher than she received. It was a good score, but we all thought it was a great routine (I of course am prejudiced. But, since everyone else does not know her and they were saying that, it might be true!!!).

Matt and I spent the meet in Allstar Cafe waiting for them to broadcast the meet on ESPN, but they did not so we ended up watching games.

When Lisa and I met them at the Cafe, we found out that Matt is exceptionally good at anticipating plays. He was using the NTN System to predict the upcoming offense play for the Steelers vs Bronco Game. Matt was second overall at the Cafe and 208th in the Nation. Now, if only he would show the same passion for his school work.

Well we even got to see Tinker Bell fly over the castle. Before then though it seemed that a lot of things were breaking down or closing very early. But luckily we even got to see the new and improved It's a small world.

I made really cool invitations for my neighbors ice cream social with it. I can make more, the question is, what do we do with them once we have them? Of course, I can always make as many as ppl want so they can make a scrapbook page of the trip (it'll be no seaulater scrapbook class!)

That's a cool cut out, maybe we can do a scrapbook class at one of the meets as an official page for ou book.

Maria, I always do a search on radisson port canaveral and book thru them direct to do the cruise package and have stayed there 4-5 times, I have never stayed at ron Jon, but try googling them.
