Angie,
I still think about the Glf Coast daily. I just cant imagine. Did you take any pictures? Care to share if you did? Did you see progress being made??

Saw the ad for tomorrow's show....yes, there are folk that still need our help.

Here to, in the state of WDW,,,,,,
I drive through Belle Glade, Clewiston, Canal Point and similar areas frequently. The blue roofs are on old trailers that can barely stand together. We were in Pahokee and the street was full of FEMA spray painted addresses....And they were the lucky ones.....What more can I say>?????

So I guess the consensus is that the artwork is okay?? I will get with her tomorrow to see how the order form is coming along. HOpefully we can get that up so people can print it off and review.

Has anyone here done the Catamaran Snorkel on Castaway Cay? I was thinking about it, but not sure if it would be worth it if it doesn't take you very far from shore. Any opinions would be appreciated.

Thanks

Is Seahorse Snorkel and Catamaran the same thing...ok it is late, I am tired...but yes, STacey posted times for the Seahorse,,,,

Really cheap???

if cost was not a factor....what things would YOU want in your house? for comfort, energy efficiency, etc

I think we should celebrate and get some 20 year old stuff.
It funny that you say that. I've been getting the Grahams 10 year Tawny at CostCo, they also carry the 20yo too. They've got a good price and it's convenient. The other day I was looking at the "stock" and noticed they had ratings on the Port as well as the other wines. The 10yo Grahams received a 91 point rating and the 20yo only a 89! Got the 10yo!! and yes it's yummy!!

How about some of this?

I've always want to build a house using the ICF, Insulated Concrete Forms. They give walls that are min 9" thick and are terrific at insulation and sound control.

Venetian plaster interior finish on the walls and 9' - 10' ceilings, cherry wood floors, radiant floor heating, AC in the conditioned space with a air handler for consistent temps between rooms, concrete flat tile roof, metal covered fascia and soffit for no paint maintenance. How that for starters??

I guess you are one of the lucky ones that can get Costco to ship wine and port to your house.

I'm trying to go by Costco this weekend on the way back from Tampa. I need some more fish, wine, and port. Not all for the same night.

Last night I started looking at the private label wine. I need to get that order in soon. Trying to figure out what to put on the label.

Good Luck Sue - perhaps you were thinking - you would not have to wait as you would be the first there?????

Good morning cruisers!

Happy Wednesday!

Sue - good luck with your mammogram. I always schedule an early morning one. Since you can't wear deodorant until after the exam:)

Morning all - Enjoyed the skating last night - The Americans were right on - although I think I like little Kimmie's program more than the judges did....And she did a triple, triple. Sarah's was perfect - am glad she is in the lead.

I will never understand the new scoring system??? As they give points for moves that place your body "off-balance", there are some very unseemly poses.....

Got a few more pm's overnight (thanks to Jim for helping):)

The web page has been updated!

Sue - you guys are going to be only a few doors down from us now. Howdy neighbor!

I didn't take any pictures ... sort of wish I had. There is clean-up progress being made. I didn't see much rebuilding going on yet. There are lots of gutted houses & businesses. As Irene has said about FL, I think the problem now is getting workers to actually do the work to rebuild & repair.

Someone sent me this website. It is from the Biloxi, MS newspaper. Some of the after pictures looked exactly as what we saw this weekend... so not much has changed.

I'll have to see if I can find a website that has the same sort of thing for LA.

Angie

Is it 3:00am est Saturday a.m. or Sunday?
Do you you need your Castaway number?

oops - sorry, good morning everyone! I haven't finished my coffee - I'm a bit out of sorts...
