This is what marriage is ALL about. "What's mine is mine, and what's your's is mine"!!! :scratchin :confused3

yep, it's the perfect relationship - he makes the $, I spend it!!

GROAN ALERT:

At New York's Kennedy airport today, an individual later discovered to be a public school teacher was arrested trying to board a flight while in possession of a ruler, a protractor, a set square, a slide rule, and a calculator.

At a morning press conference, Attorney General Alberto Gonzalez said he believes the man is a member of the notorious Al-gebra movement. The FBI is charging him with carrying weapons of math instruction.

"Al-gebra is a fearsome cult," Gonzalez said. "They desire average solutions by means and extremes, and sometimes go off on tangents in a search for absolute value. They use secret code names like 'x' and 'y' and refer to
themselves as 'unknowns,' but we have determined they belong to a common denominator of the axis of medieval with coordinates in every country.

As the Greek philanderer Isosceles used to say, 'there are 3 sides to every triangle.'"

When asked to comment on the arrest, President Bush said, "If God had wanted us to have better weapons of math instruction, He would have given us more fingers and toes."

So is anyone else here a Disney shareholder? We bought Alicia some shares when she was born, the value has increased from $400 to a huge $600 in the past almost 15 years, but the Annual Report is sure fun to browse through. We got it today, it has the cast of POC Dead Man's Chest on the cover.

Are you surprised that we are? I think we own 1 share? Enough to get the "freebies". The report is fun.

I have an e-bay question - will pm you.

Thanks for the groan alert by the way.

Mary - thanks for the siggie link - I finally tried it without the preview and it worked fine (just as you suggested).

I would recycle my old cruise dresses, if they still fit...but they don't. So I have a few newer dresses to wear. I'll do like Mary, and wear a long black skirt and a blouse.
Yes, the teen girls will, just for the cruise, dress to the nines.
MARIA! Don't you DARE worry about your weight when meeting us!!! Can't speak for anyone other than myself....but I am quickly passing "Pooh size" and heading for Dumbo size. We will love you no matter what!
Supposed to be 48 here on Thursday, guess I brought some Arizona weather with me.
Heading for dinner....Early Bird time, you know! LOL

As an Algebra teacher, I didn't find that article funny. Okay, I lied.
:lmao: I did find it very funny. Keep the math humor coming!

uh oh!! Maybe from your response he should bring another Bottle!! :rotfl2:

This is one packing assignment, he will undertake willingly.....and I am sure he will need to do research in advance. Lots of research...

Yet another DIS related reason to deprive our checkbook of funds :rotfl2:

Seriously, he has a favourite and yes, he can be talked into bringing it.

There for a minute I was really worried!! Thanks for letting me off the hook quickly!! :)

HH, this is the site I found about radiant heat chips. Seems easier to do as a retrofit than the other kinds. Also, don't know if this is federal or state, but any home improvement you do in 2006 that will make your house more energy efficient will get you a tax credit (not deduction) up to $500. Cool...

Anyway, here it is....

http://www.savenrg.com/1rbschip.htm

Nick is studying energy in Science now....all about renewable and non-renewable and all that....so this is a good tie in on how we are trying to cut down on our energy use! HA!

btw, Stacey....the website if for a place in Phoenix....if you're interested in shiney chips in your attic. :)

I like that!!

Simply blow this reflective product over your existing insulation and change the way your home feels....forever. Never add attic insulation again!
Learn something everyday!! Are you thinking of using them?

Since they blow in over your existing insulation, then anything added to the existing would bring an improvement on the heating and cooling bills. Is there someone around London that offers that?

Website update!

I've updated the website with everyone I've heard from regarding buttons and the mini-navigator. If you've sent me a pm you can check on the site to make sure I've added you in. We are up to 75 buttons!

If you haven't pm'd me yet there is still time. Just drop me a pm if you want buttons and the mini-nav for your family.

Also I need to apologize to lunsusie. She sent me her info to be added to the web page last month and it got lost in my pm box. So her info is up there now too.

London, England....probably...
London, Ohio...probably not! HA.

Ok, so I have HH's go ahead that these look cool (at least LOOK cool!) HA. Now, finding someone who can do something about it. Hmmm. I'll have to look into that--maybe starting with Angie's List.

Think I'd need to up my insulation FIRST (it's the floofy stuff, not the roll on stuff) and THEN do this? Looks like I'd need some vents. Right now I just have the shingled/ridge vent which I'm reading are really not that good.

OOOORRRRRR.....I could MOVE to Phoenix and then use these guys. Hmmm.....

We were for years, but sold them. We also loved getting the annual report. We use to get discounts for stockholders. When that changed, so did we.
