Gotta run....Talk to ya'll later! :moped:

And a T.O.P. as I go!!

Where's the Leader Board for T.O.P.'s??

Irene, you bring up a good point. If you are linking your reservations to the group, YOU CAN'T MAKE CHANGES!!! That is, without de-linking your reservations. For instance, on the Dec. cruise one family that was linked with about 10 other families had been on the waiting list to switch from second seating to first. Their wait list came through, and they switched ALL 11 families to first seating. That was a mess to straighten out! So if you request a different rotation than the rest of the group, you need to separate your reservation. That's all!

Sue/Diana/Stacey,

We will be requesting a specific rotation for the linked tables? Just curious. It doesn't really matter to me since I'm new to all of this anyway.

This linking/delinking only applies to Dining - correct? Not to spa/shore excursions?????

If that's your idea of protection, then we now know how you got Alicia!
(scratching head) That might explain it..........

You know, she doesn't look "filtered"! :scared1: :scared1:

I have a stupid question ... do all dining rooms serve the same food choices on the same night? So I'd get the same food if I were in Animator's vs. Parrot Cay?

Ang

When we link our reservations, we do it with Disney Dining. So it only effects dining, not spa or excursions.

We will ask for a certain rotation...which is why I am searching through to see which one put us in the "best" restaurant for the special nights.

That's a GOOD question....not stupid. Each restaurant has their own (different) menu each night....except for things like "Pirate" night...then they have the same "Pirate" menu. But that's why we want to try to be in Parrot Cay for Pirate night...it feels so much more "pirate-y".

We had APL on our Western cruise in '04 and were in Lumiere's for formal night and Parrot Cay for our Caribbean night. Shouldn't it be the same?

While I am waiting on a 2:00 call, this is what I think we will have based on the standard western and the posted ports.

S - Depart Port Canaveral :chat:

SS- Castaway Cay :boat:

M - At Sea
Captn’s Gala - formal :groom: :bride:

T - Costa Maya :sunny:

W - Cozumel
Pirate Night :pirate:

Th - At Sea
Capt'n Mickey’s Party - semi formal :flower3:

F - Castaway Cay :fish:
British Pub night :drinking1:

Arrive Port Canaveral

Irene beat me to it. With her help, we figured out that the dining will probably be the same as it has always been for a 7 night cruise.

Night One: "Regular" dinner menu....but it is a different menu for each restaurant

Night Two: Also a "regular" menu...different at each restaurant

Night Three: Formal Night...same menu in all restaurants

Night Four: What they call the "Around the World" menu...same menu in all

Night Five: Pirate or Carbbean menu...same menu in all

Night Six: Captain's Gala...semi-formal...same menu in all

Night Seven: What they call "The Best Of...." menu...same in all

So, on the whole, no matter what your rotation is, you will get the same menu.
The object to requesting a particular rotation is to be in the nicest restaurant, Lumiere's, on formal night, and the most casual, Parrot Cay, for Pirate night.
If we do the APL rotation, it would put us in Parrot Cay for Pirate, Luniere's for formal, and Animator's for semi-formal. Perfect!

Also:
If you dine in Animator's on the first night, the special character breakfast will be the next day, on Sunday. Parrot Cay the 1st night, breakfast is on Thursday, Lumiere's the 1st night, character breakfast on Monday morning.

Champagne Brunch in Palo is on Sunday and Monday.

And of course, there's always Palo for fine dining on any night!!

After that long post, and I hit "Submit Reply"...I got the Server Busy message. I was going to be really mad if I had to re-type all that!!

Are they working on fixing this, or is there nothing they can do???

And that look would be......???? :confused3 :rotfl:

Stacey - I do not think that "Champagne Brunch in Palo is on Sunday and Monday" - since we are going to CC twice, I think we have brunch only on Monday and Thursday??????

Confused????? :confused3

Steelers fans here. Loved the game - watched every minute of it. Felt horrible for Carson Palmer (even if he is a Bengal), but that's football....

Virgil

Yeah!!! I'm NOT alone. I felt the same way and I think the Steeler who tackled him, I forgot his name it's really long, felt really bad, too. He was a Bengal for many seasons before. But like you said, that's football. We had to do without Ben most of the season.

Let's see how this Sunday goes. Could be a different story.

Maria

Woo Woo - a TOP with Virgil, and the Steelers. Sounds good to me.

Good point. Guess I'm corn-fused too. I'll ask when I call to make the dinner reservations. Makes sense that they wouldn't do it on a Castaway Cay day.
