Today is turn around day as we get ready to drive up to GA on Thursday night. Tonight my parents come for dinner and Christmas. Lisa and I are baking this morning to have it all ready. At least I don't have to cook on Christmas Day!

Where in GA are y'all going again? I forgot. The weather man said this morning that we may get up to around 60 on Sat. & Sun. but then there was a mention of SNOW Sun. night in to Mon. morning.

Irene I agree with you - this is supposed to be a slow week. Especially in my industry but we are busy busy busy. Plus having lots of people off makes it even busier for those of us still there. Well at least I have both Friday and Monday off!

I agree with both of you too! I went in to the office yesterday for our holiday luncheon. I intended to be home by 2:00 or so but got swamped when I sat down at my desk. I didn't leave until almost 4:00. I paid the price last night too .... my back was really sore.

Suggestions for some good shore dives in our area? I think it was Kevin, who posted one in Ft. L. a while back, we will try that. I'll do an on-line search and ask our dive instructor as well.

Here are the directions. It is a pretty easy dive. You do want to make it out to the second reef line which is at the end of the pier.

I'm here...for a minute or two. I'm alive, I think. I just wish I weren't. Typical cold/flu stuff...whole body aches, chest feels like it's being crushed with hot rocks....but life goes on. Still had to work today.
The young son of a friend of ours is working for us. When I walked in today, he said "I thought you were sick"......"yeah, I am...but I still have to work". Guess that's the difference between teens and Moms. Okay, never mind, there are a lot more than that.
Pay no attention to the ramblings of a delirious woman!

How do you make cupcakes in ice cream cones? (Seriously, I don't know)

Thanks for the wishes, this was my first time and the kids seemed to enjoy it plus less mess with no wrappers.
I put the batter in the cones with the flat bottoms, placed them in loaf tins so they didn't fall over, baked them, frosted and decorated them.
