Is that an incentive for you to get out more, Angie? Well, I wouldn't have been able to take my mother staying with me for more than a couple of hours. Ditto for MIL. Luckily I don't have to worry about either one. I have a sick little boy at home again today. He came down with strep throat on Sunday, and I don't think he'll make it back to school until either Thursday or next Monday. He usually 'shares' his strep with me, so I'm thinking that it's just a matter of time for me to wake up with it. I'm wondering why DH never gets it!CajunGirl2 said:Good morning all! My parents are here. My mom is already driving me crazy. Anyone else have that problem? I liked it better when my MIL was here.

That's why our younger DD stopped working at a daycare. She was getting sick constantly. Just give them lots of hugs, and then go wash your hands. It's not quite as obvious as wearinga surgical mask when you come over to watch them.dobelover said:Since I started watching Nick and Emmy, I have had the flu (or something similiar) twice, really TERRIBLE colds and sore throat.

My sister just called, Emmy is sick and can I come over early today. Of course I will but I wonder what sickness I am going to catch! Before I retired I had rarely gotten sick, maybe just a sniffle or two. Since I started watching Nick and Emmy, I have had the flu (or something similiar) twice, really TERRIBLE colds and sore throat.

The island shots are of St. Barth's. It was stunning!

Now nothing will come on - not even the a/c. Put a call in to the heating & air folks that we used last year. Hopefully they can come out in the next few days. Temps are supposed to drop again at the end of the week. We have space heaters in the girls room so we should be fine for a while. Bruce & I will just have to bundle up in lots of blankies. My parents are in the bonus room & it's on it's own unit.

About the only season I miss from the midwest is the fall - so, air conditioning in November is still tough for me...not, to mention paying the electric bill...![]()
