And I don't think Alicia will be going along on the Key Largo dive in December. She really wanted to do the studio's Talent show, since she is in most of the numbers. When we told her it was OK if she wanted to stay here for it, she decided that's what she wants to do.

Matt and I just got back from our day of diving. It was drysuit demo day for him so now he has another thing on his list of wants. I think his favorite part was his driving 2.5 hours to get us there. And maybe my forgetting my mask.

I was up at 1:30 am this morning and tried to post....darn maintenance. Next time they need to pick a night that I sleep through.

Sorry I haven't been on much. Mark and I did a quick little getaway to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. I'm typing from the Airport Hyatt in Orlando. No one knew we were coming down - sorry this trip was just for us.

We fly home early tomorrow morning!

Not much to report from Sucba store...Sam purchased weight belts for snorkel, even though you and Kevin said they were not needed. And 2 pounds of wieght for me to offset the wetsuit. I explained i really wanted to try cave diving - provided we have an instructor with us that would understand if I turned around....Not sure if Sam is as keen, but he will try it --- I am sure...

So, he wants to talk about BSs. I tried on Zeagle BC trying to get a size fit --- but they are a touch $$...So - we have lots of stuff to talk about when we meet for lunch this week....

Other than that --- I bought a skin shirt on sale - how exciting....At least it looks good with high heels....

Believe that one and I have a bridge to sell........

Hey - how goes the folks in Plantation - do thye have power yet? Lots of folks in Broward still do not....

Too funny, Kevin just turned on a movie that was almost over. "Speed 2", featuring a Seabourn ship running over some boats, then taking out part of St. Martin. Not exactly the same as yesterday, but similar!

Plantation office got power back on Thursday. However they lost it Thursday night when a rat blew out their tranformer. The bad news is that FPL says they are now a low priority since hurricane damage comes first.

It could be a while again before they get power to this very small block.

Just back from spending the past 12 hours at a cheerleading competiton... I don't think I can currently utter a coherent sentence, so I'll just check in and say hello!

Elizabeth's squad didn't advance to regionals this year... which is OK, cause it would have really messed up Thanksgiving AGAIN!!!

I feel for you - Frances had to endure a road trip this weekend to a dance competition. A nice 7 hour drive from SC - and they had to start late because they had to stay for the scholarships to be handed out. The good news is Lauren's squad did well in Tap and Jazz, the great news is that Lauren received a scholarship for a weeklong camp - next summer - our choice of spots... one happens to be Las Vegas.... She thought she was going to win one in Tap - but she won in Jazz (probably would have gotten Tap too - but they only award one per person). According to her instructors and coaches - she really impressed them - which is great for her - first time she has done this individually.

Yes our anniversary was last week. Couldn't get away then as my boss was supposed to be on a cruise so we booked this weekend. Sorry for the confusion.

I overheard quite a few people on the ship who live in FLorida, saying they wouldn't have power back until around the 20th of November!
Last Saturday, there still was no power, no gas, nothing open in Ft Lauderdale. Stop lights weren't working, gas stations closed...and we were all just overwhelmed by the trees down and the debris.....


Yeah.....pirates.....Jack Sparrow, each and every one of them. I was so frightened! NOT! In my dreams, to be kidnapped by someone who looked like that!! LOL

Virgil's guess was right....I was washing dishes the whole time, to pay back my debt in the casino! LOL....actually, I did pretty well in there. Hit a few jackpots. So much for the rumors about not being able to win in a cruise ship casino.

Up early to continue to get our house in order for the cruise - he little beasties have been moved back to their normal spots - now it's time to wash cages and laundry --- Work promises to be exciting - it always is trying to get ready to go.

I can't believe it. My vacation chain is getting so small compared to how it started. I think it had something like 50something weeks on it at the beginning. I'm getting too excited.

Gotta go now. Kinda made a promise to myself like Amanda to limit my time on the computer. The laundry and housework in my home has been really suffering due to my computer time.
