Once you get home do you load them on to your computer for editing and printing?

Yes - quite painless - as it mounts as an external drive.... (of course it's easier on a Mac....)

You can also do this:

Connect iPod to a projector or TV (with optional AV cable) for full-color slideshows with music.

Save your precious memory cards. Use the iPod Camera Connector to transfer photos from your digital camera to your iPod, then view your pictures onscreen. (Compatible only with iPod with color display and supported cameras.)

You can also get an adapter to download your flash memory from a reader into the iPod.

Great. It works with "compatible" cameras. Of course mine is not, so that means a whole new underwater camera set up which will cost me another $1,000 so I don't have to buy memory sticks for $60.

Hi guys...
Bad day here. I just picked up my kids, and less than 1/2 mile from my house I got in an accident. I was stopped at a busy intersection, waiting to make a left turn at a red light. My light turned green and as I eased out, it was too late. We had already collided. He was headed straight on that road (IE if I were turning west, he was headed east). All I can figure is he tried to beat the yellow? I am so mad at myself because I just can't believe that I had an accident. Thank God no one was hurt! I had all 4 kids with me. We all had our seat belts on. I drive an Expedition. The front grill is ruined. He drove a Plymouth Neon...the passenger side of his car is scraped up and down and dented at the point of impact. I fee lreally guilty, because once I realized that we had hit, the first thing I did was angrily point to my green light. I didnt even think about the fact that he may have had a passenger ( he did not THank God) I think I was just still so stunned that I had actually just gotten into an accident. I have been driving for 14 years with no accidents...THe police took our statements. I told the officer just what I told yall. The other guy is claiming he had the green light also, he said he saw me coming out and decided all he could do was gun it? Then, when the officer asked him for his insurance he said he just applied for it, and he didnt have a card?? Oh man....oh man I am still shaking. I just can not believe this has just happened. I do not even know what happens next. I tried to call my insurance agent ( I have had State Farm for 9 years now) but they are already closed for the day. I left a message with their machine....I dont know what to do next..the police officer said since we both are claiming the green that it will be up to the insurance company....how will it be determined who is at fault?

What is your toll free number?
Most State Farm® agents are now providing 24 Hour Good Neighbor Service®. With this service, you only need to know one phone number to get help 24 hours a day - your agent's office phone number. Call during regular business hours and you'll reach your agent or agent's staff. Call after hours and you'll reach the 24 Hour Good Neighbor Service team. This team allows you to report a claim, ask a question and get the personalized help you need. Your agent will get a full report of your call to follow-up with you. State Farm agents with this service are ready to provide the service you need 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays.

If this does not work - try http://www.statefarm.com/jscript/easysrch.htm

Wow, Amanda, that's a bummer. No witnesses stuck around, huh? I don't think your insurance company will be too bad on you since you've never had an accident.

#1, I'm glad that everyone is alright!! Car damage, while a HUGE inconvenience, beats bodily damage any day!!

Were there any witnesses at the scene? Did anyone stop and say "hey, this lady had a green light?"

Hey y'all!

I haven't been keeping up with the thread over the weekend - been busy. This will probably be my last post for a while. I go in for surgery in the morning. Please pray for me.

THere were plenty of witness, since it happened at a stop light, but I guess no one could be bothered to stop. I just dont understand that. Whenever I witness anything, I always stop to see if the person needs me to tell whatever I saw to the police. I just got off the phone with Progressive..his insurance agency. Since my agent was gone for the day, it was suggested that I call his insurance to get the process started. I just dont see how they will determine who was at fault, since it is basically my word against his. I was at a complete stop at my light, waiting for the green, once it turned then I went. I have never had any accidents, Havent had a speeding ticket in about 12 years. The only damage to my car is the front grill where he "gunned it" as he says. His car definitely had the most damage. He was going very fast compared to me. I may have gotten up to 5mph if even that much....

Amanda, if it really needs to go this far, there are probably cameras at the intersection, that will tell who had the right of way. I'm really surprised that the policeman left it at that....especially if the guy said "I gunned it".
Your insurance company will want a lot of details, so write it down if you need to. The other person's insurance company may be calling you, so ask your company first, if they think you should talk to the other company. No matter what, do NOT say anything like "I'm sorry"..."I thought"..."I looked up"...."I assumed"....most of these can be twisted to look like an admission of guilt.

Angie, we wish you all the luck and quick healing in the world!! :cheer2: Remember that you have more than your family rooting for you!!

Take care and think positive!!

Oops....too late, I see you already talked to his insurance company. They will definitely want your company to pay, if he has more damage than you do.
I'm hoping all you did was report it to them.....did they ask a lot of questions? Now that you have talked to them, don't talk to them again. If anyone else from Progessive calls, tell them that you've already given a statement, and leave it at that.....at least until after you've talked to State Farm.

Amanda - sorry to hear about the accident.

Angie - keeping you in our thoughts and prayers as your surgery approaches.

Amanda, sorry to hear about the accident. Great news that you and the kids are OK!! Hope everything works out. The biggest PITA is getting the car fixed.

I never said Im sorry, or any of the above, I told the officer, "I was stopped at the red waiting to make my left. When the light turned green, I eased out and there he was out of no where."
He said, " I pulled out of the Spectrum ( a gas station on the corner) and had a green light. I saw her coming and not stopping. It seemed like all I could do was gun it."
I called Progressive, Gace them all the info I had from the incident report ( the actual accident report wont be available until Weds). They forwarded it onto the local progressive agent who then called me back and took a recorded statement. ( I hope I did the right thing?shoot now I am worried that I should not have talked to them?) When talking with Progressive I simply stated the above, but I said "when I eased out, that is when we collided"

Sounds like you did just fine...don't worry about it. Now that you've talked to them, you don't need to again. Write down what you said to them, though. That way, if they do talk to you again, your "story" will be the exact same. They look for discrepancies.
