Guess it is going to be one of those days. Came in to find two messages waiting for me. One from my boss saying she'd be in late and I would have to do the interview on my own (we were both to interview the person but separately). Second however was from the person I was to interview saying she couldn't make it. Oh well.

I still want to go snorkeling in Cozumel. No one else has said anything, or it got lost in all these posts. OK, I'm keeping track now. Who wants to go snorkeling in Cozumel? And should we go to Chakanaab or somewhere else?

Don't know about you guys, but regardless of what happens, we'll probably snorkel at Chakanaab on the day that we're in Coz... I don't know that I want to do the "planes-trains-and-automobiles" ruins trip (I'd like to see the ruins, but don't want to spend half the day being 'transported')... my kids haven't snorkeled before, and I think Chakanaab would be a great place for them to try it out...

I never had a problem with undertow there... but then again, we are very used to rip currents here... my kids fight them everytime we go to the beach, and still stay in the water for hours on end.

Okay...true stories...funny at the time:

Friday night when we were coming home from the ballgames...driving down our dark road. All of a sudden there was something that appeared to be flying in front of the car...level with the grille. I slammed on the brakes. Then we burst out laughing.
Apparently, a rabbit had thought that he would run across the road in front of me....when he realized he wasn't going to make it, I swear to you...he lept in the air, doing the most perfect spread-eagle....looking like a flying squirrel, with his arms and legs all splayed out.....the cheerleaders would be jealous of a spread-eagle like that!

Flying Rabbits? Arizona is a LOT different than NM.....

Thanks so much - a quick snorkel question - do you ear a weight blt? If so what type? I am thinking I will need my shortie wetsuit - so I will need one...Thanks....

No weight belt. You want to float on the surface. You can alway surface dive if you see something that needs closer inspection. It's always a good idea to wear some exposure wear. Sun protection is necessary and the extra neoprene keeps you buoyant for a very relaxing time.

Thanks....I always swim in a shirt, being of the red-haired fair skin type. I have one of the body gloves that I intended to wear, but since we will have the shortie, I may wear it.....Even Fla. water is cool for me after September....Hawaii - hah - toes only.

I was concerned since I have never worn a shortie, that I could not surface dive but if that is not an issue, good....more $$$ to spend on other things...

I found out the paid in full question today when I tried to book for my January cruise. So I had to quickly pay the balance online (ouch) in order to book Palo. I had hoped to hold onto my money for just a few more days!!

Timing wise, I think it's 90 days for castaway club, 75 for new cruisers. Is it 100 for concierge?

We were sitting next to a young guy in the airport on Friday with one of those. He really liked it, it does the slide shows and music. He had the smaller 2G version. I think I want the larger 60G Ipod so I can store digital pictures taken on trips without taking the laptop! (Christmas gift alert!!!)

It looks pretty simple. They sell an optional camera connector to download from the camera to the Ipod, then when you get home, download to the desktop and to your normal process. I was thinking that 60G would work just fine, but the 80G would be better and with the improved screen, hmmmmmm
