Got home in time from my Pilates training to watch the end of the Astros/Braves Game from the 15th inning on...Good thing I'm not a huge Astros fan, or that game would have killed me...Then watched "The Story of the Weeping Camel" with the kids - it was an academy award nominee for Best Documentary Feature. They were mesmerized even though it was a quiet, slow moving film with subtitles...

Now that the kids are in bed - it's off to watch a few more episodes of ER..

hmmm.. willhave to look more into it. I will be the only one snorkeling(sp). Misti wont get in the water because of her contacts and Dom would be floating away.

Patty, it will be something small...I want to get a feel for everyone who is interested 1st, then we can decide on a theme and a limit(by no means, no more than $10 if that is OK with everyone)

We snorkeled in CHaanknaab in Cozumel after our Dolphin Swim. It was better than CC, only that there was many more fish. The undertow was pretty bad however, and I would not want to take my kids there. THe shore was very rocky but it was still very neat.

We did the Cozumel Catamaran Sail and Snorkel...The undertow was horrible. John and I each took charge of a kid and even though I am a very strong swimmer, it was difficult reaching the ladder. My lifeguard instincts were working overtime with so many weaker swimmers and kids trying to fight the current.

The photographer fed the fish - once she stopped, the fish disappeared.

The beach we went to was nice - the kids had fun. Their favorite part was the party on the way back - including the tequila conga line - they were poured 7-up...We enjoyed dancing and the music on the way back...

we had a strong current while in Curacao, but dom and I had a blast. She rode on my back and just was a singing.. a song from Nemo. Just keep swimming, swimming swimming. it was a hard time swimming while listening to her sing

You know, now that Ithink about it, the undertow for the dolphin swim was really strong as well. But we were all wearing life jackets. But I did have to loop my fingers thru the fence, just to be able to stay on the platform.

So , I take it, the BRAVES won!!!!!! go BRAVES

uh, nope - it was 18 innings-the length and the suspense would have killed me, the longest game in playoffs, most pitchers, record for 2 grandslams - and the Astros won with a walk-off homer...

The Astros face the dreaded Cardinals next...

edit to add - NEXT YEAR WILL BE THE CUBS YEAR!!!

More evidence that God really does have a sense of humor - my 1000 post was about the Astros and the Cardinals.... sigh...

Wasn't there some talk about doing a group snorkel excursion on Castaway Cay? Maybe we were talking about one in Cozumel....I'm not sure...

One more thing, please...When can we book our excursions and do we have to have to be paid in full?

Hey hey lookie loookie!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are glad to see you! Yes I do believe Irene had suggested a DIS snorkel group. I am not sure if the plan was for Coz or for CC.....I am not sure about your 2nd question...sorry

I think it's 90 days and 75 days depending on whether or not you are a Castaway Club member...Don't quote me - all I know for sure is that it's not time yet...

Angie, I got your envelope today. Thank you. I just realized, and totally forgot that you had told me you changed your mind about picking things up for them. I am soo sorry. I can send back you envy and its contents if you like, since I totally spaced. Anyways, I just wanted to know if you were all set for your surgery. I wanted you to know that I was thinking about you, and I know your DH will have alot on his mind, but do you think you could get him to log on once after, and let us know that everything went okay? SO we wont worry?

Talking to a lady in the boarding line at the airport this afternoon. Got to talking about cruises. She mentioned that the had been on one of the older Princess cruises to the Eastern US and she had been sick with high seas. When to the bathroom and the door knob fell off! She was stuck in the teeny-weeny bathroom for a couple of hours!! Not fun!!

Psst, hon. Did I forget to tell you that Stacey's next cruise is on Princess?

I'm trying to keep up with this site, but I can't. If I miss one day, I come back and I'm 10 pages behind. It's overwhelming. I want to make sure we find out all we can about excursions and stuff, so we can be involved.

Our kids will find out about the cruise in December, so I hope to get them hooked up with some other "Lab kids". I'll use them to help us keep in touch better.

Thanks for remembering me though
