Just checking... wanted to make sure you were OK... I just got an e-mail this morning about a meeting I have at Saddlebrook in November and thought, "hmm.. haven't heard much out of Fran lately...??"

We all understand 'sidetracked' these days... I'm way behind on my 4 post-per-day quota!!!

I came back up the aisle to "Ode to Joy", and walked down the aisle, escorted by BOTH my parents to "Sunrise, Sunset" from Fiddler on the Roof ... Dad's favorite song.

Nope, no "here comes the bride" or traditional recessional here - always thought the recessional sounded like a colliope after the first few measures-

we did pachebel's cannon for the girls - and processional Trumpet Voluntary (can't remember which one or by whom - think it was Clarke- I'm suprised I remember that much from 16 years ago) but, the best was Ode to Joy recessional - full pipe organ, an arrangement written by our church organist. I love pipe organ music - so, we told him to have fun & choose what he wanted to play beyond Ode to Joy post recessional - his fingers and feet were flying.

Hey guys, had to go over to the promotional items vendor today to pick up some shirts and I saw the neatest thing (at least I thought it was). It was this great royal blue backback/mesh bag on the top with side pockets and a zip out front, then on the bottom it had to lined zipper bags (like the heavy grey material they use in the collapsible coolers) The backpack looked very solid. I thought this would be a great bag to use on a cruise. We like to take bottled water and snacks with us when we go out off the ship. I asked them what kind of price they could give me and he said if I wanted 20, we could get them for around $23 each, which includes any embroidery that we would want on them. I will try to locate a picture to show, but wanted to see if anyone was interested. Let me know what you think.

I think the cooler sounds great. Does it come in lime green? Or can the embroidery be in green?

I have pre-op appts. today - lab work, appt. with the anesthesiologist, appt. with the surgeon then appt. with physical therapy. Luckily Bruce is coming with me so I'm not totally overwhelmed.

Not just any OSU game. The ONLY home OSU game in the entire month of October!

KT maintains the bride wasn't. (thinking that is)

Now KT is threatening to wear her big OSU clip in her hair (which will be professionally up-do'd) and painting her nails scarlet and grey!

Funny wedding story - Goddaughter went to the wrong Florida school....Her father, mother, uncles and I all went to UF - Go Gators.

We were good, until the final walk down the aisle, when her uncle, who was playing the organ, broke out the Gator Fight Song....A perfect send off to a Seminole

I just had a similar conversation the other day when loading up my new linen closet... I still have the towels I got for a shower gift (our 15th anniversary is next week)... I have 4 different 'color schemes' of towels from the last 3 houses that I've lived in, and my new master bathroom doesn't match ANY of them. I'm not thrilled with the color scheme of it, but the wallpaper was so well done that I hate to tear it down... it's 'nice', just not what I really want. I figure I'll live with it til I can't stand it any more. (Or til I can't stand the fact that my slate blue towels are hanging in my burgundy bathroom.)

So, no, "Just Married" towels are NOT a great idea... and even less so on a cruise.

Sounds like it is time for donation to hurricane victims and a trip to BBB for you!
