I took Kevin's test. I got 21 correct. I guess I must be very observant, or live so dull a life that I know these things. I missed #9, #11, #12 and #16.

I thought it was odd that the "average person" only got 7 of 25 correct. Just goes to show you that DIS'ers are smarter than average!!

Thanks, Karen, I e-mailed them to ask if it's a copy. I'm really more worried about a copy not playing on our player, but it should. I sure don't want to pay the big prices! I think my high school DD would love this show.

I was looking for an audio book for Jeanne. Borders did not have it, I was in the store. Looked on line at Barnes and Noble and Amazon. B&N was $100 and Amazon was $25. Anyone know why the HUGE price difference? Unabridged cassette.
(DM always gets a reward for good behavior, quick recovery, etc)

Barnes & Noble charges more because they rely on their big name. Go with Amazon, you won't have a problem. Ha...I always got a goodie when I was a good girl at the doctor!


We still get re-runs of My So Called Life. Jordan and Jared love it. I watched it when it was on the first time and liked it too.
The show that I could watch again is Life Goes On. I always liked that one.

The show that I could watch again is Life Goes On. I always liked that one.

The boy in that show....Corky.....I worked with a doctor who looked JUST like him. Spittin' image. Couldn't get it out of my head that a doctor with Down's Syndrome was working on ill children!!!

The Housewives were in rare form tonight! Loved Lynette making her pitch while she changed a diaper.

I love that show. It makes me laugh and of all of the wives - Lynette is who I relate to the most. My kids have been to work with me MANY times over years and I can totally relate to Lynette's attitude of - "Oh well, you gotta do what you gotta do to keep your job, balance family responsibilities, etc" And, it is also because I feel like I am always frazzled looking!!

Got one... or I wouldn't DIS much now... I can't stand to be relegated to sitting at the desk at home to be on the computer... all my at-home DISing is done from the couch! I tend to DIS a lot when I'm in hotels for work... that is when I can drag myself away from the important 'meetings' that happen every night after the daytime meetings are done. Gotta make sure our product is at its freshest in every hotel we visit, now, don't we!!!

Need info on the Nintendo DS. Kids have their eyes on them and they'd make good Christmas presents. They really want them so they can get the Nintendogs games.

Both my kids have them and love them. They also love the nintendogs games.

yep, Lynette has been my favorite character since day one. No idea why, I only have one kid! But since she first waded in the pool to drag her kids out, and punched out her husband, I've loved her.

Well, we've back deep into the Harry Potter series. Almost near the end of Prisoner of Azkaban. Just read the kids ONE chapter over lunch, which turned into another, and another, and another....2 hours later I'm finally taking a break. Hoping we can finish it tonight and watch the movie!

School, Harry Potter and 24....my life in a nutshell right now.
