OH my...

I don't feel well at all....

It's like I'm gasping for air....

I don't know what to do....

I'm shellshocked. I'm bewildered...

HELP!!

Should I report some DVD's missing to Netflix to try to get the next disc in the 24 series sooner? Should I run out to Wal*mart and try to buy it?

I CANNOT believe I don't have another episode to watch. And, like always, they left me hanging. WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN NEXT???

The kids are going to Cleveland on Friday....I have a sneaking suspicion that Mike and I will watch TV at every possible moment.

"so, what did you do while the kids were gone?"
"watched 24!" ;)

I think I forgot to mention - I'm in DC at our annual meeting for the American College of Emergency Physicians....

We're having a rally on the Capital West Lawn tomorrow - trying to insure that ERs have the funding and support that we need to provide the safety net for all Americans......

Anyways.... It's been a busy weekend - and actually the last few weeks. I hope to be posting more in the future.....

Talk to you all later!

Have Fun, just don't get arrested......... :rotfl2:

Hi! Finally checking in. Kids were home today, Teacher In Service day.....so I took Jordan to get a birthday gift for a friend. And did a little shopping....

Our docs for the Princess cruise came today!!! Yippee! So I finally got to go online and book our shore excursion (got it) and a couple of spa ressies!

I took Kevin's test. I got 21 correct. I guess I must be very observant, or live so dull a life that I know these things. I missed #9, #11, #12 and #16.

Yes, Diana....I've been mostly looking at Costa Maya. We'd like to snorkel, but the best reef is for divers only. You can snorkel from the shore at Mahajual....little old fishing town that is mostly just bars and shops now. But I also read that if you want to get a boat to take you out, you can get one easily at the port.
Their new port sounds pretty nice. Lots of shops and restaurants, 2 salt water pools, beach....there isn't a whole lot to do in Costa Maya, so they made the pier nice enough to stay right there.
There are some jungle excursions, and some ruins. We'll wait to see what DCL offers before we start to think seriously about it.

:flower: Good morning cruisers! :flower:

Happy Tuesday!

Maria - congratulations on having a finished kitchen. We need to do ours sometime in the near future but nothing as grand as yours sounds.

Stacey - great job of the trivia! You got me beat.

Virgil - hope your rally gets the message across.

It might seem harsh, but not panicking underwater when you lose your mask, or any other problem can be VERY helpful!!

Actually, they don't normally do that in classes these days. When I learned back in the Seventies that was common practice along with turning off your air and other interesting tricks. You did learn to cope and that makes you a better diver!!

BTW, did you pay extra for that abuse?? :rotfl2:

I passed with flying colors when I also took the 1970's abusive class, why did you have to remind me about the turning off the air.....but with the surface two feet above me, hey, surface- surface-surface --- that was the logical course. The other logical reaction was to punch him out, but I restrained myself. It is a new mask and I (admit) I need to become more comfortable with it....

The abuse will cost us some Smithwick's and a grilled chicken dinner tonight....

Enjoy the meeting (or at least the cocktail parties).

Good Luck on the rally!!! Well needed.....

Good Morning All - Had a tough night, Jeanne fell in the bathroom. Got her up and back in bed. Going to check on her now, today is senior center, I hope she is well enough to go.

Maria, great news about the kitchen, ENJOY!

Virgil, I am an aging hippie, sorry I can't make your demonstration.

You should dive with Matt. Sometimes we do drills at an end of a dive, when we are getting bored. If I'm not careful he will turn off my air. I now know the feeling of running out of air. He doesn't do that any more!

Hey, I may be having a Tupperware Party....anybody interested in some Tupperware? Let me know. I can have it mailed out to you.

I'm still trying to catch up with these posts....

Maria

Sorry Maria - don't think I'm interested in Tupperware. But, if anyone has a Southern Living at Home party, let me know.

Yeah, not in the market right now either. If you open my Tupperware cupboard it might just come crashing down on you. Never been to a Southern Living party. Maybe they don't have them up here in Yankee territory! :) Pampered Chef is fun and I usually find something I can use. :)

Good morning all! I tried my hardest to stay up to watch the LSU Tigers last night but fell asleep at half. I can't believe that they lost a 24-0 lead!!!

As much as Emily complained about having to go to day care yesterday, she had a great time. Two of her best buddies that now go to other elementary schools were there. I'm sure she'll have fun again today.

Maria, I'm soooo jealous of your kitchen. I would give anything to have a walk-in pantry! It sounds like HEAVEN! I do like my current kitchen layout but just hate not having a bigger/more functional pantry. I also hate the all-white thing. But, I can't complain because I do have Corian countertops and GE Profile appliances.

OH, so YOU are the reason that they lost?

That's the rule around here....if the Buckeyes lose, it's probably because of something we did (or didn't do) If they make a bunch of bad plays, Mike looks around and makes sure everyone is wearing something scarlet and grey, that we all have our Buckeye necklaces on, that the OSU flag is flying, and yes, he makes sure I am awake.

That's why Texas beat OSU....I fell asleep. :)

Yes, that's what DH told me this morning! That and the fact that Emily asked to wear her LSU nightgown to bed last night but I couldn't find it. Oh, and I guess I took off my LSU shirt to go to bed. The list goes on. I do the same with the Saints.

I guess he saves those "drills" for you, heh Dad??? :teeth:

Valve drills are pretty simple with a single tank. They can get a little more confusing with doubles, and a light and trying not to move in the water column and remaining horizontal...... :rolleyes1
