I was just looking at the DCL website at our cruise. There isn't even a link to book a Cat 6 anymore. Does that mean Cat 6s are sold out? Wouldn't they let you book a gty even if they are sold out? It looks like the only Cat 8s left are on deck 5. We have a Cat 8 on Deck 7.

I got 20 correct... but then again, I have been banned from playing Trivial Pursuit by just about everyone I know (unless I'm on their team).

I CANNOT believe I don't have another episode to watch. And, like always, they left me hanging. WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN NEXT???

You should dive with Matt. Sometimes we do drills at an end of a dive, when we are getting bored. If I'm not careful he will turn off my air. I now know the feeling of running out of air. He doesn't do that any more!

Hope he's not practicing for when you are old and grey and on oxygen... maybe he's practicing to be the next Dr. Kevorkian??? Better spend his inheritance now. (My grandfather lived with us for 5 years while he was on oxygen... that became a family joke... and HE's the one who started it- yes, we ALL have a sick sense of humor in my family).

I really shouldn't be marathon posting... my post count is dwindling- I'm not living up to the 4-per-day minimum... too busy lately, and too tired once I get home. (I still haven't unpacked my closet yet, either...) I'll be in the Keys for a few days next week (I think...); 3 days in Sarasota the following week... a 2-day meeting in Tampa the following week, and a quick trip to Dallas in the beginning of November... my DIS'ing may be seriously neglected if I'm not careful!

Valve drills are pretty simple with a single tank. They can get a little more confusing with doubles, and a light and trying not to move in the water column and remaining horizontal......

Thanks guys, at present I do not need to worry about doubles, or a light.....and still trying to adjust the tank so I do not keep hitting my head....The tank is too long for the body. I tried stretching to gow taller, but have given up on that. DH does NOT have these problems.

I'd bet you would be a great canidate for a steel 80 or 72. About 4" shorter than the omni-present aluminum 80. Plus, take weight off your weight belt.

Hi All - Thanks for the pixie dust for Jeanne. She was QUITE perky this am and very embarrassed about the fall. Her ankle is sore so I gave her some tylenol and put her on the bus. She knows she must stay healthy to cruise!

Should I report some DVD's missing to Netflix to try to get the next disc in the 24 series sooner? Should I run out to Wal*mart and try to buy it?

There is a cure, you know. You could go to Costco/Sam's and BUY the DVDs! You can always sell them later on Ebay. You've inspired us to put 24 in our que though.

I've been trying to find a set of the TV show "My So Called Life" to watch. Netflix doesn't have it, and it goes for about $150 on Ebay! Except the one that someone copied, that's only $50. But I don't want to do that, I want to resell it if I buy it.

I think I forgot to mention - I'm in DC at our annual meeting for the American College of Emergency Physicians....

We're having a rally on the Capital West Lawn tomorrow - trying to insure that ERs have the funding and support that we need to provide the safety net for all Americans......

Anyways.... It's been a busy weekend - and actually the last few weeks. I hope to be posting more in the future.....

I told Mike last night I'm tempted NOT to watch it while it's on....I may wait to get the DVD for season 4 when it comes out. I'm set with Netflix. I should have 5 discs delivered later this week!!

Sounds like our family. Did I tell you the story about how Nick predicted my dad would be dead in less than 3 yrs? Now it's the running joke for my dad to try to outlive the prediction.

Oh...and then my dad goes to the doc and tells me the doc told him "not to make any long term investments." So my dad asks the doc "like what?" and the doc says "don't buy any green bananas!"

You'll just have to get a laptop with wifi, then you can DIS in the airport! Though some of this sounds like driving. OK, a Blackberry then.

They are so good that we've talked about buying them. They'd be good to rewatch once you know what's happened to see if you can pick up any clues that you missed the first time.

True confessions, the 3 hour drive yesterday heard all of us, who have not moved, confess that we have not cleaned up from last years storms.....I too, still have boxes of "VISS" Very Important Stuff Stash, that were tossed together last year. Since I have not moved, they have not been cleaned out. I know, send them to Karen....She can put them in her closet....

I was hoping that maybe, my some small change, we'd be upgrade from an 8 to a 6. Guess that's out of the question now. I know that our chances were slim but one can always dream. Just means that we'll have to cruise again and save our $ for a 6.
