No electric on Sat and went to central Pa for a college concert on Sun. Now I HAVE to do laundry and housework

Actually, one of my brothers has done that a few times. Athough only with people that have a sense of humor and "know" we are kidding. The initial reaction is kind of fun to watch. You have it right!!

About a year ago we had our chimney taken down during our kitchen remodel. They took all the bricks out and started to leave. I mentioned that there was rain predicted for that night. They had to call their boss and see what they were supposed to do! Thankfully he told them to patch the roof. Ironically, the kitchen remodel was due to water damage (from the upstairs bathroom).

Its getting up there Monica!

Just filled up today - it jumped 15 cents since I filled up 10 days ago. Houston has some of the lowest prices nationally, it still hurts to watch the price jump. And I have a tiny 14 gallon tank, I'm sooo glad the suburban is long gone!!!!

5 years ago, when we were expats in Alberta, we were paying the equivilent of $2.00 US/gallon - it didn't seem so bad, looking on the billboard because the prices were per litre.
