Another stupid question, while we're on the subject... (as you know I haven't cruised DCL before)... is the soap/shampoo in the room the same as on-site in WDW, or are they packaged for DCL? I have some WDW ones to put in there, but if there are different DCL ones, I'd love to get just 2 each of them...

Packaged for DCL - sweet! So, everyone - this means bring you own so we can save them for Karen.

The soap and stuff is different. You can pick them up on Ebay along with luggage tags. You might find a lot of your little DCL stuff there.

Not everyone... I'd have WAYYYYY too many... I think there are lots of you going before us... but thanks!!!!

My gears are turning now on getting this surprise stocking put together... someone remind me before you go (not like we won't be blabbermouthing about it plenty), but I want to have someone take a pic of our stateroom door (if someone isn't too scared to go way down in the dungeon of deck 2)... I think I'll put it in a frame and add it to the stocking.

Karen - they have their own. Not in bottles but in little packets. I'll be happy to save you some as we never use them. I can also pick you up some of the luggage tags on the last night. They have different characters and would be fun to use for clues.

Besides, my idea of a cruise will always be palm trees, sandy beaches, WARM breezes on the deck... even though I have those things every day now. (I expect them even MORE on vacation!!!).

what makes it a vacation for you is you have palm trees, sandy beaches, WARM breezes and NO laundry, NO cooking, NO cleaning....etc! :)

They are different. I'm sure someone will pick some up for you. We're going in September (and then are hopefully meeting the Scubas in Disney after that) so we could snag some, give it to the Scubas and they could give it to you...
oh, nevermind, you live 2 miles away but you have never met....
well, we could ship it! HA!

NO NO NO. don't encourage the ebay people who take all this stuff from the ship and then resell it. kills me they take all the extra luggage tags and then auction them off.

WE, your good friends, will steal for you! :)

That's a COOL idea. give me a list and i can do a lot of this for you. :)

then, of course, you'd better hope you don't get an upgrade! ;)

ummm.....(saying sheepishly) i looked in my closet and i have about 7 containers of DCL Minnie lotion, 7 DCL Daisy shampoo and a DCL bar of bath soap.

And maybe 50 various and sundry personaly hygeine products from WDW itself.

So, a couple of theories here....either we go to DCL and WDW WAAAAAY too often, or we don't use NEARLY enough personal hygeine items around this house.

I, personally, refuse to believe either of those things!

Oh, that is SNEAKY!! Good one. Too bad my stupid load demand meter won't allow it or I'd try it! ;)
You have got my curiosity piqued now!! :listen: So does thing shock you if you use it during peak hours, or just charge three times the going rate!! :earboy2:

Since Amanda shared her mush the other day, here's what I'm putting in my scrapbook on the page with pictures of Mike and me:

For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.

Matthew 19 : 5

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. Roses are red, violets are blue. No cliché phrases seem to fit when trying to describe my love for Mike. Instead of fading with time, my love has only grown deeper and stronger. We’ve been through quite a lot together—some good, some bad, but the key is that we’ve gone through it all *together.* He’s there for me always, respects me and has unconditional love for me. I only hope that my actions communicate the same message to him. I strive to be the wife that God intends for me to be. Love you, Mike!!!!!

Key dates to remember: Fall 1986--we met at Ohio Wesleyan University and quickly became friends. Winter 1986—with friends we formed IBT (I Bite-a Thigh) Fraternity. Fall 1989—we begin officially dating. May 12, 1990—Mike asks me to marry him the night before graduation. Obviously, I said “yes!” August 3, 1991—our wedding day. Now--almost 14 years later, I’d still say “yes.”

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

I HAVE met Sharon... for about 10 minutes... at Middle School Orientation...
Mr. Scuba, on the other hand, may just be a figment of everyone's imagination, as far as I can tell...

But thanks for the offer!

It's a tough job, but somebody's gotta do it.

The few. The proud. The blabbermouths.
Our new motto:

Il pochi il fiero i blabbermouths

it's Italtian, the closest I could come to Latin using babblefish

I want to go there! It sounds really nice. I need to get out more when we visit FL. Kevin has seen a lot more of the state than I have.

wow. i'm coming to your house on my next vacation. i have 98% of the cooking, 98% of the laundry and 75% of the cleaning.

and no palm trees and warm breezes, just deciduous trees that lose leaves for 6 months a year and muck and slush.
