Another boring day at work... look what was just fished out of the 'company fishing hole'. He's about 7 ft long, and NOT very happy to be photographed... I had never heard anything HISSSSSSS quite like he did... he's missing a paw/foot/flipper (whatever you want to call it)... obviously not his first run-in with an enemy.

We knew he had been there for a few weeks, but had gone into hiding after we gave him a 'little scare'... now he'll go live happily ELSEWHERE... where he can't eat out of the well-stocked pond...

And yes, I DID take this pic with my camera phone...

He will be showing up on the menu shortly at a local restaurant!

I'd actually like one of the wireless thermometers Jim was talking about.

This one looks nice

What do you chefs think. Seems like I have more a chance getting one of those than a GPS..... :rolleyes1

Any cooking appliance is good as long as I don't have to use it.
OK, it is official, this is my new motto! (What's a motto? Nothing what's a motto with you!)

OK boys I need help...my DH has been wanting a gas grill for a while now, but has never went and bought it himself. I think he wants me to get it fr him. With Fathers day and his birthday on the 18th of this month I was hoping you could give me ideas on what to look for in a grill?Jim, Kevin, Larry or MosBo, if you were to buy a new grill what would you buy ( link please) and why?

Something like a Ducane! Stainless steel, all nice and happy.

Maybe that explains where the fingers went on his right hand... if you look at the picture, they are long gone... looked like he's been that way for years.

Mine is only a single probe, but I have found a single probe works just fine. :earseek:

See my new motto above!
Since KikiKaren wont tell me how to quote more than one person at a time, I am resigned to telling people to look at the last few posts for frame of reference! LOL
