btw, kikipug. we enjoyed "your" park on our recent trip to FL. Went to Sea World and spent most of the day there enjoying all of the shows and animals. I was pretty impressed as we were walking to our first show that all of a sudden there was a voice over the loudspeaker asking everyone to stop and sing the national anthem.

And then in the preshow to the Shamu show, there was a video about our soldiers and then they asked all active, reserve and retired service men (and women) to stand. The crowd went wild. It was a great thing to see!

Yes, every day starts with the National Anthem at the rope drop... not sure how long they've been doing it, but I know its been at least for the past 2 years. I think its a great way to start the day.

Anheuser-Busch is very sincere in its support of the troops... it isn't just a 'feel-good ad campaign' for them. General Shelton, former Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff is on the Board of Directors, so it's taken very seriously everywhere within A-B.

We got to meet the soldiers from the Super Bowl "Thank You" commercial while we were at our convention in San Diego... it was really cool- they were overwhelmed by the response that they got.

Glad you had a great time! It's my absolute favorite park... yeah, I love WDW, but Sea World is "home". Next week, I am taking my niece there as part of her college graduation gift. She's 22 and has never been. (and the kids are still in school that day! ssh... I planned it that way!)

We are on MAJOR declutter mode around here. In the time I've been gone I've filled a black trash bag with crap (not literally) and tossed it into the garage with the other 3!

Whew. That feels good....

Thanks for the heads up. I'll check it out. Sharon does not let me read the main board anymore. Something about them not enjoying the humor of stirring the pot.
