Sounds like your construction is moving right along! It does wear you out, you ought to try doing the work too! :rolleyes1

yes i got a chuckle out of that earlier monica!lol anyone else watch the finale of raymond? kind of ho hum doncha think?

We watched Raymond and agree it was ho hum. We thought they would at least come out for a curtain call. Oh well. Sharon is waiting for the next smart wife/dumb husband sitcom. For some reason she finds them funny. :confused3

:flower1:Good morning cruisers!:flower1:

Happy Tuesday!

Today is Spring clean up at work so I'm in jeans. It's the little things that make me happy.

Hope everyone has a great day!

:cool1: Good Morning, All!!!

:bounce: I'm a nun!!! :bounce: Got the call - I'm in Sound of Music - :bounce: Auditions for the kids, Maria, and Mother Superior were insanely competitive...glad I don't have the voice, or desire to play a lead...Going through the audition was nerve wracking enough...

Busy day today - 3 classes then after school Maggie has her final girl scout meeting at Build a bear - what fun - 12 second graders at the mall  and Mike has a Math triathlon competition...

I enjoyed Raymond and watched it faithfully in it's early years - but, as the show aged, it wasn't nearly as funny as in the beginning...I'm sorry I missed the finale, though...

Same here - we watch 24 on Mon. nights now. Next week will be problem. The girls don't go to bed until 8:30. Guess we'll be missing bits & pieces trying to get them to bed. Or just lie about what time it is. They don't know how to tell time yet. I've already got my theory about what will happen with Tony.

Did you realize who the girl was? I knew she had been on the show in previous seasons, but just couldn't place her til I read the 24 thread on here this morning...

No. Do tell!!!

Congrats, Monica, that's very cool! Keep us posted.

In college, and up until the time I discovered skiing in my mid-twenties, I was at a community theatre rehearsal just about every night. Mostly Shakespeare, classics, the occasional comedy. Funny now DD is doing the same thing. Since she will be going to a HS that encourages performance, I told her we will look for play auditions that might have parts for both of us. It's competitive here, too, though. And I'm rusty!

Sounds like you'd be perfect for the Tin Man in The Wizard of Oz!!! :rotfl:

Amanda,

We won't be arriving until 10 p.m. on the 6th. Afraid we will miss each other. Too bad. Right now I just wish I was leaving sooner. Can't stand the waiting.

Hey, as long as I don't have to sing, I'll take it!

Karaoke isn't til Friday, but here... I thought I'd help you out...

When a man's an empty kettle
He should be on his mettle
And yet I'm torn apart
Just because I'm presumin'
That I could be kinda human
If I only had a heart

I'd be tender
I'd be gentle
And awful sentimental
Regarding love and art
I'd be friends with the sparrows
And the boy who shoots the arrows
If I only had a heart

Picture me
A balcony
Above a voice sings low
Where for art thou, Romeo?
I hear a beat
How sweet
Just to register emotion
Jealousy, devotion
And really feel the part
I could stay young and chipper
And I'd lock it with a zipper
If I only had a heart

Besides - I'll be out of town this weekend... I'll miss the usual Friday festivities... someone else will have to start the singalong.

:rotfl2: Clever!!! :rotfl2: A "perfect" role for a rusty thespian! Want some oil hon?

ATTN Scuba Diver - your assistance is needed on the main board. Someone is asking about bringing in a flask of rum into the dining room to make rum and coke. I think you are best suited to answer this question. :)
