Virgil...Kristin never has struck me as being the Bridezilla type.. I can't imagine planning a wedding for/with her would be a problem. Honest.

It wasn't Kristin I was talking about..... It is the ex that will drive Frances and me crazy........

Would a wedding with Elvis really cost $5K? I managed a wedding in Las Vegas (Green Valley) for almost 100 people for around $7K. It was a church wedding with reception at a golf club.

And you're absolutely right...the $5K would be a bribe. MUCH cheaper than a full blown church wedding with reception....and MUCH MUCH MUCH cheaper than Megan's Disney Cruise Line wedding.

Heck, my wedding was 17 years ago, and it cost Mom & Dad MUCH more than 5K!!! (Then again, I WARNED them NOT to have an open bar with OUR bunch of friends, but they wouldn't listen...)

My husband does have a little bit of romance in him. Our anniversary is not until tomorrow but when I got home from soccer practice with the girls, he had the dining room table set for 2 ... complete with red roses, sushi on our china & a bottle of wine. I was impressed. I think he was planning on no one seeing it until the girls went to bed but that didn't happen. So we all had dinner together. Of course now he's watching Nova & I'm dis'ing.

I'm surprised John hasn't chimed in to show off his new toy he got on Monday...I'll give you a hint: the Beetle is gone. My "present"? His 2001 Highlander with 100,000+ miles fully loaded ---- with all of his trash and junk...

He bought a 2005 Tundra - I'm sure the neighbors love us in the morning, it rumbles... It's huge!!!

The practical answer as to why he got to get the truck - The deals were better on the trucks, we didn't need two highlanders, (Don't know why I couldn't look at Camrys or Rav4s...) I don't drive that much during the week; we can hang onto the highlander longer.

Truthfully, he whined that I already had a fun car, so it was his turn...

Ang, tell Bruce he gets an "A" for effort... even it did mean sushi with the kids... heck, I'd just be happy to have all 4 of us home for dinner at the same time!!!

I got the Buffet "Live at Fenway Park" CD/DVD for my anniversary... of course, I had to wait 3 or 4 days to actually listen to it, as it promptly found its way into HIS truck... oh well... once again... its the thought...

Thanks Mary....I knew that was going to happen, and should have fixed it before I "lost" it. I can't decide if I want to re-list our cruises, or get rid of the picture.
