I don't have enough energy to over do it.
Therapy starts tomorrow, and knowing my therapist, she'll have me whipped into shape in no time! Either that, or I'm going to die......... She doesn't stand for any whining!

The diamondbacks were infected with Cubs syndrome! If you are going to lose, lose big!!!

2003 was a memorable playoff run against the Marlins for the Cubs. The series is best remembered by the Cubs leading the series 3-2 with 5 outs to go when the fan catch of a foul ball ultimately lead to the Cubs self-destruction. The Marlins went on to win the game and then the next one and went to the world series. But, the other part of the story is that the Marlins were originally leading 2 games to 0...

Moral: There's always hope until the last out!!!

Well - it looks like I'm going to be house hunting in Houston for Kristin. It looks like she is going to accept the offer from Boeing and work at NASA at the Johnson Space Center. She'll be in Houston at least 3-5 years so we're going to look for a house for her and Nick. Nick is still looking for a job post graduation, but they want to end up together.... and I'm fine with that...

Road Trip in the next few months to Houston!!!!

He is. He treat her well - and fits in with the family quite nicely. I don't think her mom has figured out that they are going to be living together.....

Frances and I told Kristin that when the time comes they should elope to Vegas - just pick a time when we happen to be there...... I can't even fathom planning a wedding with her.....

Virgil...Kristin never has struck me as being the Bridezilla type.. I can't imagine planning a wedding for/with her would be a problem. Honest.

Now, JORDAN, on the other hand......she's the one I've offered $5000 to just please go to Vegas and let Elvis do the honors. But no....if she had a Vegas wedding, you can bet that would mean the whole she-bang at the Bellagio.
Perhaps I've created a monster?

Actually, she's already been thinking of her wedding, and she wants it Western. WELL...that's plenty easy to do in Cave Creek!

We once mentioned to KT that we'd either do the WDW wedding for her (wedding chapel, characters, etc) OR we'd buy DVC for her. Basically we said "one day? Or 40 years?"

Of course, if we did the DVC route, it'd be in HER name only. Not taking any chances!

Nick is on his own. Since the bride's family pays!

Would a wedding with Elvis really cost $5K? I managed a wedding in Las Vegas (Green Valley) for almost 100 people for around $7K. It was a church wedding with reception at a golf club.
