I didn't have a whole heck of a lot of conditions- just summer so I wouldn't have to mess with taking the kids out of school, taking the cruise in 2008 before the kids got certain ages based on reasons I've already stated, and CC on the itinerary.

Why not back to back Wonder cruises. I understand some of them are going to CC twice. If you do a back to back, you could go to CC THREE times!!!

Has anyone seen the sun this week? I feel sorry for anyone vacationing in FL this week... its a whole 46 and raining right now.

I got a new truck on Monday... finally got a sunroof again, and its worthless... there's no sun to SEE out of the sunroof. This is pathetic!!!!

I sure hope we get better weather this weekend... we're headed to Sea World on Saturday for "Bud & BBQ", taking my Dad to see his 'girlfriend' (no, not Shamu... Sugarland is this week's concert)... some sun sure would be nice!!!!!!

John called me on his way to work this morning wondering what was the strange glow in the sky. I was a bit slow on the uptake-I hadn't had my coffee-I'm ready to turn on the radio, thinking refinery fire, etc - nope, the sun!!!

We're finally seeing the sun here too! It's about time. Yesterday the weatherman was saying that we may see snow on Sun. morning. Now they're saying that the high is 60 on Sat. What a difference a day makes?

Well that is certainly interesting to note. I hadn't thought of that because I thought back to back wonder cruises would end up so much more expensive but all those trips to CC..hmmm

BTW- y'all are talking about sun. give it back! It's like freeezing here (well almost literally, 33 degrees) Give us the sun back please. We can't take the cold here.

It's sunny here in NY. The temps might scare you or bring back some ugly memories though....high of 29 today, tomorrow's high is 18!!!! Talk about freezin' parts off!!! So tell dad that rain and 46 degrees sounds good to me....

BBB: Not sure if you know this or not, but the Texas Legislature mandated that schools in Texas can not start before the 4th monday in August. That means school will be starting this year on Aug. 27. Which means, schools will be getting out between May 30 and June 6, depending on how many holidays they take in the middle of the year. Of course, if your kids are in private school, that might be different.

I WISH they'd do that here!!! I never have figured out why our schools get out so early in May, and go back so early in August....it is soooo hot in August, and more than half of the school busses are not air conditioned!

They were in Cave Creek about 2 yrs ago, I'd say. Performed at a little Coffeehouse. The owner owed Jay money, so he let me take Jordan and her friend to see them for free, front row, and we got to meet them and take pictures afterward. The girls loved it, and it was a great show.
