Stacey's in a smiley mood this morning!

Monica, nice to see you posting. You too, Pam!

I heard from the scuba divers. The trip was "awesome". Alicia told me they saw whales, seals, dolphins, and lots of kelp. I don't think they were in the water with the whales and dolphins, not sure about the seals. I'm sure Kevin will have a more detailed report. They get back at 12:15 today. I was glad to hear from them.

I'm sure Kevin will not just have a detailed report, but pictures for every minute. :rotfl:

We will be waiting for the link.

We saw Molly in her usual spot on your porch last night when we were out bike riding... of course she couldn't even be bothered to pick her head up and look at us when we said hello. (Elizabeth asked me if she was real or fake....). Guess she's lost her 'mean dog' title... but then again, we weren't in the yard - just riding by.

I'm sure she will earn the title back when you walk up the drive way. Just pick some weeds as you go by!! :lmao:

I think it sounds like she did great, and is being awfully hard on herself! Did she swim the backstroke last?? She was probably exhausted!
Congrats to Ashley for doing so well!!

Actually, she did it about 35 minutes after swimming the 200 breast stroke, which did take a lot out of her.

I kind of thought so, poor kid! Tell her WE think she did great!!

DON'T LOOK DIANA........

HEY JIM.....look at these:

Well, we are now home from day 3 and a very long swim weekend. Even though Ashley did not place as high today as she did yesterday, she swam much better. She took off time in every event. She came in 3rd in the 100 Breast and took off 5 seconds off of her best time, came in 4th in the 50 back and took almost a second on that, 5th in the 200 back, taking off 5 1/2 seconds, and 4th in the 100 fly, taking off 5.05 seconds. It was incredible her taking off 5 seconds on both of the 100's, because that is pretty hard to do in a period of only 2 weeks on a 100.

I did invest in a new swimsuit for her. I know all of you will think this is crazy, but her team suits cost me $70. They are called the Speedo Aquablade, which is supposed to be very good in the water. I bought her an early birthday present by buying her the new Speedo Fastskin. They retail for $170, but I got one from a store in Ohio for only $115. The suit is awesome. It can only be handwashed. Good swimsuits are pretty expensive, but with all the swimming she does, it pays to buy the better suits because they last.

She was devastated at the end of the meet, because they were giving out the all arounds through 5th place, and she came in 6th, missing out by 2 points. Four out of the top 5 were already 12 and she is still 11, so she will still have a shot in this age group next year.

All in all, a very good season. I am glad it is over and we have 3 weeks of normalcy before the start of school

It is amazing when a home maintenance project actually goes the way it is suspose to. No extra trips to HD, all the parts fit, no leaks.

Today was the day I really wanted the project, changing the garbage disposal, to go correctly. I found the exact same model, bought it. I fought the urge to upgrade, get the biggest thing out there. I just wanted "plug and play".

It did. Now on to the next chores, more pictures, laundy, video....

Now this is unright not fair.....your fixed the dishasher and the garbage disposal with no leaks......but then our home is older than yours.....parts are bound to need replacing......
