Hi all. Well we finally got the car today and I am letting Dale go to a youth meeting at our church tonight solo. That is a little scarey. Luckily the church is only about 3 or 4 miles from the house, but it still makes me nervous. He is very excited.


I was excited too, until I got to the insurance office. WOW is all I can say. Even with Dale's good grades (he is ranked 22 in his class of 600) the insurance is going to run us an additional $622 every six months (OUCHHHH)

Actually if you are going to follow you'll need the right dates. We're doing March 2-9 now (got a better flight rate going Friday to Friday).

We just got back from POC2. It was a rather long movie, but we all enjoyed it. I can't believe that we sat through all of those credits for a 3 second clip at the end, but it was fun. Have a good evening everyone.

btw, did i tell you i looked into the brookfield zoo penguin thing and nick doesn't meet the age requirement. i think you had to be 12.
which gives me not quite 3 yrs to save up the $400 for the program!!!!

We get new windows in two weeks, yeah!!!

We are also going on another mini trip for my birthday next week. Great Wolf Lodge here we come. I can't wait we got these kids cabin rooms that look pretty kewl.

The two older DS's are going to New York with my brother ans SIL on friday, two down, two to go.

that means I still have to unpack from this past weekend then turn around and pack again for our mini trip.

If anyone will be in/around the Williamsburg, VA area and want a mini dis meet let me know. We will be there July 21-23.

I don't know which is more scary...letting them go alone for the first time, or the insurance rates!

I guess we have good news and bad news.

Good news #1...the boys won 11-1 and have another couple of games to go to try to go to Regionals.

Bad news #1....the boys won and we're still going to be sitting out there.

Good news #2...we made it all the way home without any trouble out of the "other" car

Bad news #2....looks like some extensive work to fix the Yukon...thanks to pack rats!

Good news #3....our local mechanic thinks he can fix it

Bad news #3....I chipped my front tooth and now will have dental bills on top of car bills and no time to go to the dentist thanks to baseball.

I give up...I can't win.

Stacey, I had dinner last night with a company rep from Chicago. He told me something that will help keep it all in prespective for you.

Good news #1....they are moving into their new 4 bedroom house on Saturday

Bad news #1.....they have not sold their condo yet so bridge loans are needed

Good news #2....his wife is pregnent again. They already a 4 year old and a 2 year old.

Bad news #2.....They are having twins!

The new house is now to small, need to change the cars, 4 kids under the age of 5....

The good news is that it is NOT ME!!!
