Kevin and Monica - The foolhearty person was me (true confessions) not Sam, but luckily I have not had to obtain a lime green cast or chicken shots, nor have I had another experience of floating hair due to electical shock...

But, as I was standing in the drizzle last night I did think this was rather stupid behaviour......you know, like running with scissors, etc.

Ok - so, what does the acronym wpasadi stand for? Not gonna venture to ask it on the community board...

And what would be the reasoning of cheering for one team over the other - other than bribing with signature pictures...In other words, why is everyone begging for cheerleaders???

Monica, I haven't checked out the new game either, can't help you. I'm sure Mary or Mark could enlighten us when they get the time.

One show day down, three to go. We had snow last night, and there was a two hour school delay, so very few made it to the first school show today. It was supposed to be a sell out, 750 or so, but there were only about 100. Second show was packed. Funny thing, the first show audience applauded LOUDER and was much more enthusiastic than the second. I think the second show was a younger group.

Kevin has pictures, maybe he'll post a couple later.

Mary - I just checked out frequently asked questions, I am looking for the ruling on coolers so I can post it for our November thread. Jim has already advised that they were not allowed, but I am concerned that bad advice has been given by others....did I miss it in the FAQ thread?

Meanwhile, did I recall a general thread on coolers? I will go look.

WPASADI stands for Wickedly Perfect Amazing Surviving Apprentice DIS Idol.


It is a game designed to have fun. It was what TY was talking about in his posts a number of months ago. Anyway those DIS members that wanted to particpate had to fill out an application and they start out on teams. The cruise board has a team, theme parks has 2 times, etc. etc. etc.

Each team can have a cheering section/audience. Those in the audience might be asked to participate in the challenges and can win some fun prizes as well. As for why people are asking for more - pride more than anything else. Who has the most supporters you know.

So if you are interested sign up to be a cheerleader and if not don't worry about it. It is all about having fun!

Irene - my understanding is the official word is no coolers. Some people have successfully brought on soft sided ones, but even then it shouldn't have any ice in it.

We're at the world! Tried to post from Mike's blackberry before, but I don't think it went through. Mike had to post a Pediacast so I get to use the laptop this time! No time to catch up, but just wanted to say hello!

Weather has been nice here. Warming up nicely. A bit of rain (we have 4 more Mickey ponchos now!) but we're working around it.

Have tried some new things this trip. O'hana for dinner (loved it) Boma for dinner (would have gone away hungry if not for the desserts!) Doing lots of pin trading. Crowds are light.

Will try to check in again, but if not, I'll catch ya'll when I get home.
