Okay, I have to admit, Iam one of the Black Friday Junkies. It was even more fun this year, because my best friend is in town and we went together with our 2 girls. We arrived at Kohl's at about 5:10 this morning. Took awhile to get out of there, but I got some great buys. We then stopped in at Starbucks for frappucino's then off to Wal-mart, Target, Best Buy and then the mall. Came home for awhile in the afternoon and then went back this evening to finish up some things. I won a $50 Visa Giftcard today, Shocked because I never win anything.

Our schedule is so crazy over the next few weeks, I really needed to get the shopping knocked out this weekend while I was off work. I have a few more small things to get for some of the family members, but I think I have most everything. Next weekend, Charley will be off of work, so we will get the house ready to decorate. My family is coming here for Christmas. Definitely not as much fun as spending last year the whole week before Christmas in a Grand Villa at Disney World. Oh well, can't have it all the time.

Well then...I haven't seen 2:30 a.m. in a looooong time. Been up with Jordan. She went to dinner with the boyfriend, had Chinese food...and it obviously didn't agree with her. I've never seen her so sick!
I think she's finally asleep...so I may head that way now, too.

Good Morning Everyone!!!

Another Rice football game this afternoon - if they win, they're guaranteed a bowl game. OK, very minor bowl game but, it's a bowl game.

Our school district website has 4 2007-2008 calendar options for voting. 3 show midweek of the 1st week in June. 1 has a shortened Thanksgiving for an end of May finish. The calendar is falling into place to allow us to go on the do-over. If only the rest of our lives would cooperate

I better go check our school's website to see if they have anything up. They usually don't start doing anything until January though.

Guess I'll look and see what ours looks like...although we're out by the end of May, so I guess we're good, regardless.

I was up till 3:00 with Miss Puke-A-Lot, and then again at 4:00. I'm beat...and I had so much to do today!

Good thing I wasn't really NEEDING anything on the District website...they're making a "new improved" site right now. The whole thing is down.

The makeover pictures that my dentist gave me. Can't say as I'm thrilled. I NEVER have ever worn this much makeup in my entire life...and I hate (hate hate hate) the way they fixed my hair...but these two are the only ones that I considered halfway decent:

I think they're pretty good. We are hoping we look like someone different........

So did you pay attention to the photographers lighting setup and technique? I like the small DOF (depth of field) in the first one!


I've been playing with some new strobes and some modifiers I picked up and lighting in general. (It's HARD!!). Mostly for items that Diana's needs to get on Ebay.

These one of Alicia, what do you all think? She's says; I should have done something different with my hair! (see what I mean....)

Unproductively productive day today - the only decorating I finished was my signature

Taught two very sparsely attended water aerobics classes - 2 people in each. Then sat and watched the UT/A&M game with Maggie. Great game and major upset by A&M !! After that, watched some of the Nebraska game, and then firished Harry Potter 2 & 3 - We watched 1 on Wednesday but, we discovered we never bought 4 only rented it - One of us may be headed into the fray tomorrow and pick up #4.

So is being Frosted like getting toasty???

Absolutely gorgeous! And I asked Tori for her opinion (so you can tell Alicia what she said): "I REALLY like it -- she looks SO pretty".

Tori's a sweetie. Tell her to come visit and she can have a "Glamour Shot" too! I think she should have worn something to cover up more of the white marble, but you know.

I got to work yesterday and today at the antique mall, and now Kevin wants to go shopping! I'm tired. But it was fun, people already out shopping for Christmas. Lots of out of towners, apparently Texans like to shop for antiques in Albuquerque.

We did all of my shots outdoors, and she did use the round silver thing on some of them...what was it you called that??

How did you get the color in Alicia's hair? Or did she color it that way?

I didn't get done nearly as quickly at the apartment as I was hoping. It's a lot slower going with only 1 1/2 hands....and it seemed everything that could go wrong, DID go wrong.

So now I stopped for a bite to eat before I start on the decorations for the house.
