I slept from 3:00 to 4:00, when she was up again...then from 4:00 to 8:30. When I got up at 8:30, she was already up. She's still sick...and now running a temp of 101.5 so I don't think it was the Chinese food. Gave her a Motrin, but it came right back up again. Glad I had my flu shot.

Hey guys,

I'm here in Syracuse, NY and it sounds like it's warmer up here than in FL. It was 52 degrees here today. Very nice. What's with the snow in Florida? We'll be there in 7 days and I would love to wear shorts and short sleeved shirts. I don't really want to wear a coat in Florida.

As far as BLACK FRIDAY was, I usually get up around 5:00 am and head out around 6:00 am to go to the outlets in Waterloo, NY but this year the weather played a trick on me. It was all black ice on the highway with a 5-mile backup into the outlets and I didn't want to chance it, so I went to the local Wal-Mart instead and spent the rest of the day with my DH and kids. Not the way I usually spend the day, but it was a fun day, none-the-less. Now, I have to go to our local outlets. They're run by the same management company, but I like the ones in Waterloo better. Oh, well....I'll have to wait until next year.

So, that's the way I spent my Black Friday. We leave to go back home tomorrow (Sunday). Back to my bed, back to the hum-drum schedules and craziness of regular life. That's OK, we had fun with the in-laws.

Sorry, didn't mean to carry on. Hope I didn't bore you too much.

I was here a bit ago, but we went to get some dinner. Back now, and of course, everyone is gone.

We've had quite the warm spell here, but it's finally cooling off. It was 59° when we went to dinner...had to wear a jacket!

Florida will warm back up again....they're like we are, every now and then they get an odd cool spell.
