HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAM!HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY MOMS!

yipeeee, we're at the 10 day countdown until we leave.

Andrea, I'm glad you arrived safe and sound and you're having a good time! Welcome back to our country!!! And I'm sure I can speak for everybody when I say we're so glad the chocolate is safe for now. hee hee :rotfl2:
Have a great time in Disney World!!!! Don't miss SOARIN' at Epcot.

Just got done working, house is empty and I think I'm going to take a nap. Can't remember the last time this happened. The kids and DH are at the in-laws. AAAAhhhhhh ! Now THAT'S a good Mother's Day gift.

Greetings all and HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all you moms out there!

Graduation went well yesterday -- I arrived and found out that I did in fact graduate Summa Cum Laude and in the top 5 of my class! I'm pretty proud of that one!

It is rainy and cold here today -- and if you all don't mind saying a prayer or sending good thoughts for good weather next Saturday, we'd appreciate it! We are having an outdoor ceremony and the weather is beginning to make us nervous. So please, keep those fingers crossed on our behalf!

Anywho...the countdowns are ticking away!

6 more days until the wedding
9 more till we leave for the honeymoon
10 more days till the cruise!

Wahoo!

Cheers,
Josh

Josh, wow, summa cum laude :worship: , great, well done and congratulations. You sure know how to time the highlights of your life within a very short time.

We will be sending out our thoughts to the weather fairy to bring all the sunshine up to you. Have great days counting down the days and we are soooo excited to see you the the happy bride.

Dear Mamis, I hope you had a great mothers day, we went out to a nice restaurant along the shore, great food, spectacular food and nice ambiance and to top it - we did not know that - the owner was Swiss. Alena felt home when seeing the Swiss flag. But the food was sure American and we ate delicious cheese cake and key lime pie for dessert - yummmie.

Josh -

CONGRATS on Summa Cum Laude!!! WOW!!!!! And thanks for the Mother's Day greetings.

I'll do my best to send some nice, warm sunny weather your way. We hit the 90s over the weekend but are cooling off today into the 80s - DD6 thought it felt "chilly" at the bus stop this moring when it was only 70!

:dance3: Whoo hoo 9 days until we leave and 10 until we all meet!!! :dance3:

Summa Cum Laude !!!!!! Way to go!!!! :cool1: Congratulations. Now on to the wedding plans. I will also try to send you warm sunny weather this weekend. It was in the 90's here also over the weekend. A little cooler this morning but should be a nice day.

Andrea, so glad you are having a good time. I hope that Alen continues to enjoy her visit and that all of us crazy DISnuts dont scare her. We will try to make her feel at home next week on the Wonder!!

Suzy, all my information looks correct. Thanks for doing this for us!

OK.....gotta act like I am working again this week! :rotfl: Getting harder to do as I am continuely checking my lists to make sure I am getting everything done and that I am not forgetting to pack something. Of course, every once in a while I add something to my to do list or the packing list. My DD Leissa had her last day of school on Friday, got exempt from her classes, so maybe she can help dear old mom out with some of the to do list!!!

Have a great day everyone and I will see you REALLY soon!!!

We've got some crazy wildfires going on not too far away from us, near the I-95 stretch. Very scary! I sure hope all this calms down soon - and by the time you guys get to this area. We have no rain in the forecast until at least the weekend.

PLEASE send some rain. There are hundreds and hundreds of families in that area helplessly watching the fires creep closer and closer to their homes and businesses.:guilty: There is a thread about it on the main board with some updates.

Donna, I heard there were fires in central Florida but have not checked to see exactly where they are. I sure hope they stay away from you and that rain comes your way soon. We are expecting some rain in the next couple days so hopefully it will get to you.

On a brighter note.....9 days until we sail!!!:dancer: Doing the single digit dance!!!:dancer:

Pam

Pam -

Thankfully the fires are southeast of us a bit, in Palm Bay.... south of Cocoa Beach, though Cocoa had its share of fire problems, too. There have been many road closures (including 95) but I think most are open today. The Beachline, the main road from the parks to the port, is under travel advisory due to heavy smoke.

We have NO rain in the forecast until at least Monday but am keeping fingers crossed for that to change. It's really a horrible scene for those folks. I think the count is up to 70 homes so far.

I have been looking at the Orlando Sentinel and it looks really bad. I guess I need to have me a back up plan on how to get to the port if the main road is closed. I have a friend that is on the WBPC that left Saturday. She didnt even mention the smoke. Was it not bad on Saturday??

I will keep all of you in my prayers!!

Pam

I believe this all started Sunday. In fact, we were in Daytona Beach for lunch that day and didn't see anything, but in fact many of the big fires started in that area. Guess we just missed it. I'll keep an eye out on the road closures but hopefully it won't even be an issue by next Thursday.

On a brighter note, I got a new bathing suit that covers my fat A55. Yeah! We all got a new one. Me and the girls went shopping tonight and had a ball. I spent money I shouldn't have spent, but what the heck, it's only money. We'll make more. Kaylee is working out right now because she thinks she's fat. TEENAGERS!

Donna, put those fires out, would ya? Always drama, right?
Remember the mad scramble finding a hotel when the hurricane hit Port Canaveral a few days before our cruise? But we didn't suffer too much, we were re-directed to Disney.
But seriously, I hope it rains and everybody is safe. And then I hope it stops raining by next Wednesday.
ONE WEEK COUNTDOWN BEGINNING SOON !!!

Donna, I really hope you are sound and safe where you are and you get some rain soon. I keep my fingers crossed for you.

Rachel, re bathing suits, I bought one too here on Sanibel and a nice pareo to cover what is way to much :confused3

Today I had :laundy: , great, did not think that this was so easy over her, in the room there was even an ironing board so we are ready to travel on the day after tomorrow to Lido Beach in Sarasota with luggages full of clean clothes, let me tell you that I brought at least half the clothes which I will never use over here, and my husband said, see.... :rolleyes1

But ladies, you sure understand that packing is not an easy thing at all, at least for us, my husband is fine with a few shirts, shorts and 2 pair of shoes.

Hey, Alena was totally happy today, she meet 2 swiss girls she could chat with and play with and said, Mami, they can understand me... To tell you the truth, sometimes it makes me soooo sad to see that she is a bit on the lonely side, just with us and tons of kidds around she can't talk to.

See you all soon and have a great countdown till we see us

:grouphug: to all of you
Andrea

Andrea -

So glad you guys are having a wonderful time - and getting great weather!:cool1: One week from now we'll all be getting ready to head to the Port!

:dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

WOOHOO ONLY 7 MORE DAYS UNTIL WE ARE HEADED TO THE PORT!!!!

:dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

I cant wait. As soon as I can get this graduation behind me I will be one stress factor closer to the cruise!! The graduation is set for Friday evening at 6:30pm outside and we are expecting rain!! Soooo if it rains it will be Saturday at 5pm at the University of Southern Mississippi.

I dont know how you are coping Josh!!! :scared: I will keep my fingers crossed that you guys have wonderful weather.

Talk to ya real soon!! :grouphug:

Pam

I'm not sure how I'm handling all this either! Somehow I'm making it day by day.

Right now, weather says Saturday should be sunny with a high 76...so, keep those fingers crossed please!

Looks like the job market is getting promising too, I've had a few calls for interviews and might even have a couple of offers to play against each other for the best possible position. So that will help out the stress level soon too!

Anywho -- Hope all is well! Andrea, have a great time in FL -- won't be long now till we're sailin!

Good luck Pam and best wishes to your graduate. Praying for good weather.

Cheers,
Josh

High of 76???!!!! Wow it is in the 90s here. We always skip over those kind of temps! Sounds like you may luck out on the weather!

Good luck on the job interviews. Keep us informed and maybe we will have another reason to celebrate next week.

Pam

Good luck on the wedding Josh

See you guys next week -- Just ordered my FE Gifts - they will be ready tue night - nothing like cutting it close
