5/22/2008 Wonder Cruise!

I have emailed the fish extender spreadsheet to those who requested it.

Donna (aka TiggerFanzFan), the pm you sent me didn't have an email. I'll send it to you as soon as you can send me that info.

I know there was mention that I could save it somewhere and post a link. Any suggestions of where to do that with an Excel file?

Got mine. I can host it in my site if you want.

Hey Suzy!

I got mine but when I print it I dont get the last 2 columns. I will work with it and see if I can figure out how to print the whole page.

We are having really bad weather here today. There was a tornado about 5 miles from my house an hour ago. I called and told the kids to get the dogs and get in my closet. It never touched down, just stayed in the air. Lots of rain today, which we need and I hope will make its way to Florida.

As for an outdoor graduation tomorrow, I dont know yet. I am thinking the ground will be to soggy, but the school is saying it will go as planned. They practice today at 1:30pm.....in the cafeteria now since it is raining!!!..:sad2: ...so maybe they will tell them something at that time.

Cant believe that this time next Thursday we will be on the ship!!! At least us early birds will. Since we are driving all night I am sure we will be there early.

Have a great day everyone!!!

Pam

If you highlight the entire area you want to print and under the File area click Set Print Area and then it should print them all. I don't know why I didn't save it that way. Sorry.

Pam -

Good Luck with the weather and those graduation plans. That's always a bummer if they have to move it indoors, and usually means less guests can attend.

I spent most of my day at DD6's school for her Kindergarten Musical (soooo cute). I went to both am and afternoon show and also joined her for lunch in between so it was quite the mommy/daughter day.

We're having lovely weather today but PLEASE send the rain! The winds shifted last night and this morning we woke up to the strong smell of the fires. They are, thankfully, getting them under control and have a suspect under arrest for lighting the first fire, with the suspicion he is linked to many of them. What kind of person does that??????

I have been trying to get some kind of extended weather forecast for the trip. From what I can tell of Orlando and Nassau, things shouldn't be too bad for the cruise. At least it is not showing solid rain or anything like that.

For Thursday, Friday and Saturday, they are showing partly cloudy with a 20% chance of rain. High of 87 and Low of 77. Nothing out of the ordinary. :thumbsup2

Good luck on the graduations, weddings, etc. I just have to get through work the next few days. :scared:

Although today had its high points... I got to "train" one of our student workers on how to ride a Segway. He won the opportunity in their monthly incentive drawing. He did all right. I still think its neat to have a job where I get to use one of those things. (No, I don't work at EPCOT despite my user name. :rotfl: )

Suzy, It is always cooler in the theaters and dining rooms. So if you are cold natured....like me....then a light jacket or sweater might be a good idea. I hate being cold!!

I just watched the Magic go thru the 1st set of locks in the Panama Canal. My friend Laura from LA is on and we were texting each other back and forth.

:surfweb: It is coffeeguy it is the last friday before we go. WOW I can't wait how does everyone eles feel.

Totally excited over here in Oviedo, FL! :cool1:

DH is really, really looking forward to the cruise and desperately needs the break from work. His Blackberry never, never stops buzzing from emails and ringing with phone calls. It's non-stop stress.

As for me, I'm a wee bit stressed about FAR more important things.... getting t-shirts and FE gifts done, printing out door signs, assembling outfits, filling out DCL forms online, etc, etc. AND, doing all this without DDs knowing... they're still in the dark!;)

Oh yeah, and getting ready for the arrival of all the CRAZY In-Laws (Kaykels and crew) pre and post cruise.

But it's all good stress! No doubt I'll have some stories for y'all when it's all over!

FYI -

Seems we've got a pretty full ship sailing. I called DCL early this week in a last ditch effort to upgrade from the basement but no luck.

Pam, I showed Pop your birthday wishes for him. He thinks that's awesome and says thanks. He's eating his birthday cake as I'm typing. The old fart is 74. Next year will be the big 75. Sounds like a good excuse for another cruise!!!

Good Luck Josh and Melissa. HAVE FUN and enjoy the day!

Okay, getting over the cold just in time. Now I have to do the last few days crunch of packing, printing up door grafitti on magnetic paper, getting the fish extender gifts together, making our matching tee shirts and remembering the passports. And I"m working every day until we leave, but somehow it'll all get done, I'm sure. And if not....
Donna, we may be sitting up late Wednesday night printing magnetic signs. Hope you have ink in the printer just in case. hee hee

OMG, my girls and I just spent the last hour or so watching videos from the past 4 cruises.....the Sail Away Parties, the Pirate Nights with fireworks, Castaway, the shows, the FOOD, the Kids' Club, the Character Breakfast, the "Till We Meet Again" show.... They're now BEGGING me to go on "The Mickey Boat" again soon.

Guess I really should break down and tell them. But you know how it is when they're so young.. they'll be asking if "it's time yet" every hour.

Hey everyone....hope your day was more productive than mine. I spent the whole day on the Panama Canal Crossing thread as my friend Laura was onboard. We texted all day until my battery died. It was fun seeing them go thru.

Got my DD graduated!!! yippee

Now it is time to focus on the cruise. I too still have door magnets to make and packing to get done. I will be working right up until time to get in the car and go. We will be leaving as soon as I get home on Wednesday.

Have a great weekend and I will talk to you on Monday!!

Congratulations again Josh and Melissa!!

Pam

Well..it is finally wedding day here...been a busy couple of days.

After teaching all day, I had plenty of errands to run before the rehearsal and dinner. The bachelor party never quite happened, so that was a bummer, but I was tired, so didn't really bother me too much.

Been getting ready all day -- got my car washed, took our luggage out to the bed and breakfast where we'll spend tonight. Grabbed some lunch with my parents and now I'm killing time until I have to be at the gardens for pictures.

I have to be there at 4:15pm (central time)
The wedding is at 6pm

So far the weather is beautiful, although a slight chance of "isolated storms" later this afternoon....fingers crossed that they don't start until 6:45!

So I probably won't post again until Monday as we'll be understandably predisposed tonight and tomorrow.

Hope all is well! Can't believe it is all finally happening! Looking forward to seeing you all Thursday!

Cheers,
Josh
