4th grade drama with DD

This is just me, but if another kid's mom texted my kid, then I would have to discuss boundaries with her and how to stay out of "normal" girl drama, because her fingers will get tired of texting when the dd hits middle and high school, lol.

OP, definitely agree with others and say parents should stay out of the drama. 4th grade is easy compared to 7 and 8th grade drama. Learn to stay out now, you will be saving your mental state later!:lmao:

As for the other. I wouldnt text mom anything. I would go to her house and face to face tell her, she doesn't get to text my dd and tell her how to behave, I do. And in the future, she has an issue here is MY number and she won't use any number but that one. Thank you, see ya later and bye.

But that's not what we're talking about are we. We're talking about normal 'girl drama' so I stand by my statement that it should get better.

It has been my experience that the drama peaks around 4th grade. And the girls who still have BIG DRAMA in their lives in high school, have very dramatic mothers. :rolleyes1

But then that's just my experience.

Ah, well the normal drama is a way for girls to figure out who they are and their status in the social pecking-order, they use words and feelings the way that boys use sports and action.

As for the BIG DRAMA...well, sometimes good kids (notice I didn't say perfect, they're just maybe decent or good) are gossiped about/harassed/shunned/whatever through no fault of their own or of their mothers.

agnes!
