40 is coming--it's all downhill from here!

I had my "yearly appointment" with my gyn. today. I not only got a slip for a mammogram next summer since I will turn 40 on July 13, but my lower Blood pressure # is up for the first time since I had DD#2--the upper number is wonderful (118) but the lower is 94 and it should be 90 or less. Well, I had a diet scheduled for the new year anyhow, but I guess the lite salt is now a permanent thing! My mom has had high BP since she was 33, so I am prone to it, but I don't want to go on meds for the rest of my life like she has been since 1965, so I have to make some changes.

And 40 is definitely NOT going downhill, it's just the beginning of the best part of your life.

Well since I found out I was preggo, with my 3rd child in 3 years, right before my 39th birthday, I can say life looks like it will be UPHILL for quite some time.

Gee.....if after "40" it is all downhill, what should I say? I'll be "50" on January 21st!!!

It's only a number. I am really looking forward to turning 50. My mother & sister never made it that far. My mother died at 41 and my sister died at 47 so reaching 50 is really a big deal for me!!

I'm going to be the big 40 next year and I don't care...age is only a number, my body is just falling apart because I'm bad quality, that's all! LOL
