4-Park Magic Ticket - Upgradable?

The 4-park magic ticket is back. We were planning on 4 days at Disney soon and this is perfect for us. However, we were thinking about upgrading one of our tickets to AP while there. Does anyone know if the 4-park magic ticket can be upgraded to AP at guest relations? Or should we get a regular 4-day ticket for the person planning to upgrade in person? (I realize that Disney would only apply the price of the 4-park ticket towards the AP if so - not the value of a regular 4-day ticket). Just wondering if anyone ever did this in the past with previous 4-day magic tickets.

Yes. The value of the 4-park ticket will be applied towards the cost of the AP.

No. 4 days is the max for that particular ticket.

You can apply the value towards a higher priced ticket. You can call Ticketing for assistance.

Planning to purchase these 4 Park Magic tickets for January. After reading everything I can find, I need clarification.
One daughter may have to cancel at the last minute because of work--I understand I can move the date (as long as the new ticket's start price is the same) to a future date before end of September 2020, correct?

I can upgrade to a 5 day base ticket if we're still using active tickets during our stay and pay the difference between the 4park magic to current price of 5 day base? DH probably won't go for this but it's worth knowing

Just clarifying but can you leave the park (go to your resort) and return the same day to that same park if you ave a 4-Park Magic Ticket? Also, If you do decide to go to another park can you just buy or use another ticket (I have a couple 1 day 1 park tickets as part of guest recovery)?

Yes you can leave and return to the same park on the same day.
Yes you could “hop” to another park by (very inefficiently) using a one park one day ticket

Yes- the waterpark and NBA Can be used on days 5 and 6. The add on includes an admission to both.

No. You cannot add anything to the 2023 4-park Magic ticket. You should be able to upgrade it to a regular ticket and do the PH add-on. Be aware adding PH is all or nothing, no option to add for just 1 day of hopping (to any ticket).
