Do you mean the booklet with the luggage tags, etc.? First-time cruiser so I'm not sure if this is exactly what you're talking about, but if so, yes! Ours came today--so exciting!

Yes - we received our packet along with the luggage tags. We checked the details and everything is correct. The cruise is almost here and we are starting to think about packing for the trip.

Has anyone booked their Palo reservations? This is my favorite restaurant - lad or sea. We're trying the Brunch for the first time and really looking forward to it!!!

We booked Palo brunch for the first sea day. It's a great time to get away - and forces the kids to spend a bit of time in the kids clubs to meet some new people. We've found if we do it later, and they haven't spent much time there, they're less comfortable.

Now reality sets in and it's time to get all my last minute things finished....... going to be a busy next few weeks but looking so forward to getting on the cruise!!!!!!

Hi all! We had two families ask to be included in the FE at about the same time a couple of families already participating requested changes to be made, so I went ahead and made all additions and changes. The FINAL FE list is below.

For the two new families (Dhingraclan and baileyjack123) , please know that since you were added after the cutoff date, there may be some FE families that cannot accommodate you if they have already prepared their FE gifts. However, I expect that most families will be okay with two additional families since we had a small group to begin with and we have 4 weeks until the cruise.

Lastly, I will not add any other families onto the FE list after this. I will certainly add names, stateroom number, and hometown if you want to provide it. I will send out one last list about a week before the cruise with everyone's stateroom number on it. If you want the list in excel format, please PM me with your email address, and I'll send it along. Unfortunately, this .jpg format is the best I can do right now with disboards.

I am thinking that if my family has the opportunity to upgrade we are gonna take it so if that happens I guess the best way to let everyone know is to leave a note in your FE especially if anyone turns off their phone!

Yes, please leave a note in our FEs on the first day if you can. Personally, we turn off all contact with the outside once we board the ship and I would hate not to be able to find you.

There will be a pirate night. Can't remember the exact night though.

I want to say Pirate Night is Thursday. DCL told me the schedule a while back when I was trying to plan for Palo and now I can't find where I wrote it down. Guess I'll call and double-check. I know she said it's not Friday since that's the night we decided on for Palo.

Does anyone have strong feelings for or against this? I've seen some comments voicing concern that kids might steal them, but there are many more who love getting them. As this is our first cruise (and, obviously, FEE), I would love some feedback here. Thanks!

We would love them. Our FE pockets are deep enough that you probably wouldn't see them. In our last FE, someone gave out mini rum bottles (why is all the rum gone??), and put them in plastic zip lock baggies, and taped them shut, so it wasn't as obvious as to what was in them.

I need to look through them again - we're trying to make sure we do some activities in the Promenade lounge. This space doesn't exist on the Dream/Fantasy - and we really missed it. My oldest still talks about it from three years ago!

We will definitely be participating in the activities there as well. Love the Disney trivia even though we never come in first - it's a great way to relax and spend to spend time with the family.

Pirate night should be the night of the Cozumel stop. Looking forward to the pirate party and the dessert buffet afterwards - definitely glad it's a sea day afterwards because it will be a late night!

Agreed! I'm always up for eating a turkey leg at 10PM. One cruise, I missed eating the turkey leg on pirate night and my server brought me one at dinner the next night even though it was nowhere on the menu. DCL can certainly make your turkey leg dreams come true!
