Hi All
Inspired by another thread i just saw but with a more specific purpose in mind. I've just got myself an HTC Vive VR headset and have already found and downloaded a few fans 360 videos on Youtube and they are pretty good.
Away myself in a few weeks and was wondering if any of you guys have a 360 camera and have any recemondations? I'm not that techy and a few reviews i've read look to indicate the cameras are linked to a mobile phone and that is used to store and put together the videos?
I don't have a mobile phone of any quality , think old school Nokia
so am wondering if there is a camera that will allow me 360 VR videos without complicated editing and can store on external micro cards?
I'm thinking cost wise not to much and that may be my limiting factor here but around the £400/$500 mark.
I like the look of the Ricoh Theta S i think it's called but on youtube reviews it does look a bit of a fiddle getting things to work in VR.
Seeing myself and family in a VR enviroment would be soo cool but i maybe a bit early as the camera's available are a bit in their infancy?
Any words of wisdom greatly appreciated as usual
