Happy Thansgiving to All My Dis Friends

I like the fact that POFQ is smaller !! I don't wanna get lost!!!:rotfl2:

We can mark the way to/from the room especially for you Rosie!! You know, like Hansel and Gretel? :rotfl:

Where are the Royal Rooms ??

Parterre Place is the other Mansion - both are just over one of the bridges that take guests to the end of the Lobby building and near the boat launch to DTD...then it's an easy walk to the main bus stop. I was very disappointed Disney made Parterre Place a Royal Room...but some guests thought it was a longer walk, so it was smart of Disney to include that building.

Linda, it's funny because AB never appealed to me - in 2006 we stayed in Bldg 14 and liked it better than the Mansion we'd been in before they moved us (some Mansion buildings are like a maze...we'd lose Rosie for sure!). We never expected to like it so much on the AB side! It's kind of comfy and cozy. Not crazy about the fish shower curtains they added with the latest refurb. Kinda weird!:confused3 I thought the previous AB refurb was more comfy - now it looks very rustic and better suited for hunters or fishermen.

Happy Thanksgiving to All My Dis Friends

Happy Thanksgiving to all!!

It is a double celebration for me this year! :goodvibes All my original hopes and plans to celebrate the "big" birthday with a Disney trip went down the tubes - looks to be a quiet day with Mia, Sophia and our little Rosie (is any day quiet with a 4 yr old!! ;) ). SIL is going to visit his family in FL for a couple of days - his mom is 86 and not doing too well lately - they've had a couple of scares.

Friday morning we'll go over to the local Artisans Christmas Fair - always fun.:thumbsup2 Oh, and there was a lovely visit to Cape Cod over Veteran's Day weekend!

I've much to be thankful for this year, especially so many wonderful DIS friends/family. :grouphug:

Thank you, Marv! I'll be 65 on Thanksgiving - which makes me younger than Rosie!!:stir:

Happy Thanksgiving!!

p.s. I just realized that you are "upstate SC" and Pat is in Charlotte - slightly more than a hour from me. How close are you to NC...and which part? Looks like we have this part of the South nicely covered. ;) Oh, and I always think of you as too young to be a Marv...my dad was Marv too. :)

We are north of you - Greensboro! We go to the South Park Mall a couple of times a year.::yes::

I really need to start commenting on PTR's and TR's... I'm not as clever or witty as the rest of you, so I lurk...but I do read. :) I am so sorry for all you've been through this year...hope 2013 is bright, making new and wonderful memories.

He really looks forward to this , and uses my english pie dough recipe , I of course am right there ro help , but he has the measuring and mixu=ing down Pat ( pun intentended ) work needed on rolling out still !! So with pies baked Judy and I settled into the Sale ads and started the plan ffor the annual madness . At 5 a.m we will be up and ready to roll to KMart , turkey in oven first:goodvibes have to eat early as girls are working !! After KMart it will be Dollar Tree , Oh yes we are ALL going !! Then it will be me in the kitchen while they watch Maceys Parade and sleep !! Dinner will be by 2 p and then they are doing dishes while I rest , before heading to WalMart which has decided to mess up the day by having the sale at 8p :sad2:. When we are done there I will be THANKFUL it is all over :lmao:

Happy Thanksgivi9ng to all and please share yuour plans !!

Happy Thanksgiving Rosie!

Fun day you have planned but I'm tired just reading about it! Shopping on Thanksgiving itself and cooking dinner? Wow! I hope you have the weekend to recover, I'd probably need it.

I'll be having the whole family over, pie dough is made and our breakfast pumpkin roll is as well but the rest will all happen tomorrow, with dinner around 2. It will be a busy morning with a little parade sprinkled in. All good! Evan is the official pie maker too, he's been in training for years and does a darn good job though the rolling is tough. Got a new roller, we will see if it helps him tomorrow.

It should, it has Mickey on it!
