3 Grannies, Disney Dancing & Deviltry! Oh, my!!

Happy Thanksgiving Rosie!

Fun day you have planned but I'm tired just reading about it! Shopping on Thanksgiving itself and cooking dinner? Wow! I hope you have the weekend to recover, I'd probably need it.

I'll be having the whole family over, pie dough is made and our breakfast pumpkin roll is as well but the rest will all happen tomorrow, with dinner around 2. It will be a busy morning with a little parade sprinkled in. All good! Evan is the official pie maker too, he's been in training for years and does a darn good job though the rolling is tough. Got a new roller, we will see if it helps him tomorrow.

It should, it has Mickey on it!

I am just amazed at the interest Kyle shows in Thanksgiving dinner , he not only made the pies , he helped with preping the Turkey, set the table and then dissappeared to his friends house and we had to call him home to eat:rotfl2:
We ate early as we are going to Walmart around 5 pm , I have refused to go tomorrow morning , instead I will hit RiteAid and Big Lots . I have been wrapping all morning too so am in good shape till tonight !!:rolleyes1:scared1::lmao:

Happy Thanksgiving to all the Grannies and wannabes. :goodvibes

...and some hints on ways to best visit the Ft during the holidays to see the amazing decorations by campers!

I am game for a cabin !!How many do they sleep and how much !! The decorations look awesome !!:goodvibes

Who's gonna drive the golf cart :moped:

How about you!!:rotfl2:

Wonder if any of the Cabins are close to Trails End? Just wonderin'...

Never mind - those cabins are UG LY!! Looking at the photos kind of gave me the creeps. :confused3

Not convenient to Pioneer Hall or the water launch to MK.

OH.MY.GOODNESS!!

Bored beyond belief!!! (not true for Mia..I heard Sophia's door slam at the other end of the hall and then her screaming at the top of her lungs for mommy!!)

It may be boring in here, but never a dull moment on the other side of my bedroom door! Nothing I can do...Mia has everything under control - she is truly an amazing....AWESOME mother! (& daughter!).

Christine, I will look for recent pictures but we stayed in the Wilderness Cabins when the boys were very young and they were really great, at least then. They try to go with the "cabin" theming with the furniture, so it looks like sticks and things braided together but it is actually very nice and comfortable. You get a "full" kitchen with dishes and dishwasher. They do sleep six, but how well that will work for you "grannies" depends on how many of you there are, and the comfort level. There is one bedroom with a double and then bunk beds, so that is four of the six. The other two is a double murphy bed that pulls out of the wall in the living room. There is (or at least was) only one bathroom, so that could be an issue I guess.

Good to know I'm not the only one!!:rotfl:

(Today I filled out an application to adopt this little one! http://malteserescue.homestead.com/AdoptMalteseRescuePeanut.html )

she is sooo cute!!! I showed it to my co worker who is a huge animal lover and would adopt them all !!! She says she would like a great dane though!!!

I can just see the pullout from the wall pinging up and Rosie with it:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Thanks, Marv! I'm not sure how many Grannies and wannabe's will actually come on the trip...but we'll be on vacation, so might as well have more bathrooms!::yes::

I absolutely LOVE Great Danes! They are such sweet dogs...Greyhounds too...but both shed and I am terribly allergic. Also, I want a little one I can carry around and easily take on vacation - of course we have our Rosie, but she decided Mia was meant to be her mama and is essentially Mia's velcro doglet. :thumbsup2

I saw little Peanut last September, but we could not manage 3 dogs...now that Jackie is in heaven, I would like a little one who wants to spend time with me. ;) I am not going to push, so we shall see if everything falls into place and we are meant to be her forever family.

Oh, yes...I can see it now.....Rosie, you get one of the bunks! :rotfl:

TGIF!!

Who's gonna drive the golf cart :moped:

ME!! 'cause I'm an excellent driver and will get you where you want to go -- FAST!!! :goodvibes

Me, of course...since I stopped driving when I was 18. :rolleyes1

Well then you can do the honors .... :rotfl2:

The cabins sleep six...I'll take top bunk..I'm little....

And Rosie, there's a reason I take care of the patient in the back of the ambulance and I am not allowed to drive it

Okay, dibs on the other bunk!! :goodvibes

Well, Marv with 3 grannies and 2 wannabees, that MAY be a problem ....:) Guess we can resort to roughing it if need be.... just have to be sure we don't pick the posion ivy!

I can just see the pullout from the wall pinging up and Rosie with it:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Oh Rosie, I can see this happening to you!! makes me think of the an I Love Lucy show!! :rotfl2:

 Janet! Good to see you!

Only one teensy possible glitch in your driving the golf cart speedily through Ft Wilderness...we are supposed to go VERY slowly enjoy the incredible Campsite holiday decorations!:thumbsup2 :rotfl:

Any possibility of a cabin dissolved with the thought of Rosie getting stuck in the Murphy Bed!!:rotfl2:
