Hi Grace !! Plans are still very vague !!Waiting on Christine for the dates although is looking like Dec 12th 2013 for 5 or more days !! It would seem that Port Orleans is among the contenders for resorts, Fort Wildernes was ruled out as they feared Rosie would get folded up in the pull down bed :rotfl2: I think Janet is gonna drive at Top speed thru the campground to see the decorations :rotfl2: Rosie has all sorts of activities planned that Janet will record on film !! Christine plans to spend a lot of time in the bushes or under a table !!:rotfl2:Sounds like a normal Dis veterans vacation!!:yay::yay:

:rotfl2: That would certain put a damper on the fun, wouldn't it? :rotfl2: But it would make for a helluva good trip report! :rolleyes1

 Where is everyone??? Busy planning all their OTHER WDW trips, me thinks!!!

I'd been thinking I had been enough during December (5 trips in a row) and would be a bit bored with that time of year, especially since I have been longing to see Flower and Garden again....BUT... seeing all the posts here and on FB of the decorations and Mickey Christmas Party, I am hooked again - it is a wonderful time of year to go.

My only hesitation is that Sophia will be 5 next and I really want to take her...might have to find a way to squeeze in two December visits! :thumbsup2

While my favorite is a bright and happy resort theme, especially tropical, WL is special during the holidays!

Sorry I have been missing, Christine! I do read, but sometimes I just don't get around to post. ;) (Too busy booking more vacations. :rotfl2:)

I hope YOUR Rosie is a bit better today - nothing worse than seeing a fur baby suffer.

Boy, do I understand that you would love to take Sophia for Christmas. It is such a magical place to be for the holidays. Even our weekend visit to DLRP really helped getting us into the spirit!
And as for the resorts .... all of them are beautifully decorated and no matter where you will be staying, it will be wonderful ...... you will be at Disney. :thumbsup2

Karin, please, no apology ever needed around here! I understand completely - I often read TR's (esp yours, Rosie, Kathy,Jeannette and Marv) but do not have enough time to post.:thumbsup2

Nothing like a Disney resort all decked out for the holidays! We've had a December stay at the Poly, BWV, POP and VWL - all spectacular! My only concern for Sophia is how busy it can be that time of year and right now she does get easily overwhelmed....but...we could take it slow...soon she might be in school and then a December visit would be almost impossible ( although home school is a possibility, but in the John Holt tradition).

Our Rosie will need to be on "bed" rest for 4 to 6 weeks!! Our Vet did admit she only manages 2-4, so that would be the minimum. Rosie is such a sweet little thing...and an innocent. Thanks for thinking of her!

Today would have been my Toby's birthday...please join me in toasting the gift of our Toby for 25 years.

If you are able, please join us in lighting a candle in honor of all children, of any age, who have gone before us. Losing one's child pre-birth, as a newborn, infant, toddler, child, teen, young adult or adult is devastating - a bereaved parent's heart never heals, there is no "closure:...but we do find joy, laughter and peace again.
