Can't wait to follow along and read about this grand adventure!

What a fun night to start off the trip!

I keep saying we are going to do the Campfire Sing a long one of these years but it never happens. :sad1:

Have y'all done HDDR? I remember you doing MBYBBQ...anyway, it's the same delicious fried chicken. I'm guessing they share a kitchen.

We have done HDDR & we love the chicken. YUM!! Ed would definitely like dinner at Trail's End then.

Yep ::yes:: We wanted to do the Eastern, but it worked better for Bill to do a Saturday - Saturday trip. And, we wanted the last week in May/first week in June. Guess y'all will be heading out on that June 6 cruise. How funny that we'll be so close. Are you doing WDW before the Fantasy? I think my parents might take the kids down a little early, but I'll be here this time with Bill.

Yes, we're doing the June 6th Eastern cruise. I don't think we're going to do any parks before the cruise this time. We did IoA/US before our cruise this past March. And this coming Oct, we doing WDW & IoA/US. So, I think we'll just fly in on the Friday night & stay @ the Hyatt in the Orlando airport which is where we stayed in March. I can't believe you'll be getting off the day we're getting on! Sure you don't want to switch to the June 6th sailing? :lmao:

LOVE the campfire pictures, what a great experience! We may have to try this with our *slightly* older kids. :) I might have missed this information, but can you purchase the smore's kits there? And the campfire isn't just for FW guests?

I'M HERE! I'M HERE! Gosh, I can't believe how out of it I am. :( Life can get get sooo busy! ANYWAY, I AM HERE AND READY TO READ!!! WOW your kiddos are getting soooo big! Faith is such a pretty girl!:goodvibes Ok, time to go back and catch up!!

Ok! I'm all caught up!

Those cabins look great! :thumbsup2 It looks PERFECT for a family!

Trail's End seems like such a hidden gem- good prices and decent food. I've never been, but I've heard a lot of good things about it. Sorry it wasn't as good as it has been- hopefully it was just an off night and not going downhill.

The campfire looks like SO MUCH FUN!!! I hope they are still doing that when I have little ones- I think it would be a great low-key evening even if we aren't even staying there! OMG- Dale with the hat on made me giggle!! I love how interactive they are!

Wow- what a good deal for the s'mores kits. YUM!!

Can't wait to hear more! Let's hope I don't fall too far behind! :rotfl:

I totally neglected to say Hello to Amanda and Roni :grouphug: Long time no "see" on the DIS!! And Lacey I had no idea about the no driving thing either. We avoided the main pool since we were next to a quiet pool and dragging my then infant son and a toddler onto the internal bus to swim no thank you :scared:

Mom looks great - and it looks as if you got her genes! The burnt marshmallows also look great, no genes involved. Write on ..
My mother will thank you!

 Apparently my kids have taken up my bad habit of "charring" the marshmallows...love em' like that - strange, I know.

Glad you're following along!:goodvibes

Brandon is right at my eye level...waiting for that growth spurt  Of course I am loving the pics!! We all are :grouphug:

You're always so sweet, Jeanette. Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever read anything you've written that's super negative. You're a ray of sunshine! Are you like that at home, too??

Heather you just posted!!! OOOOOoooooOOOOhhhhh LOVE the campfire! The kids look so happy! And your mom looks amazing! :bday: to her!!! (belated)

She's quite the grandma! The grandkids keep her young. Running after Jesse will keep anyone in shape :upsidedow

The campfire was different than the time we went a few years ago then...we didn't do the campfire, just the sing a long, but we only got to see Chip or Dale not both because one took one side and the other took the other side. We got Dale and so when we found out they were leaving right after (no dancing), we ran to the back to snag a pic with Chip since he was DS's favorite (and mine).

If you get there early, they'll come out and mingle with the crowd...pose for pictures, and basically just kind of play around. Tons of fun for the little ones!!

May be will have to try it again but plan on being there early! :-) I just hate the internal bus and trying to get to the campfire...not sure if DH would go for it or not again...

Ya know, I can't say anything one way or the other about those buses because we've never done the internal system. We've always used the golf carts. However, I can see where it might be a bit inconvenient.

Thoughts on HDDR or MBYBBQ? Thought about booking one, booked then canceled the BBQ, have TE booked for dinner one night while we're at WL, but not sure...

We've done both, and done HDDR several times. LOVE it! The BYBBQ was lots of fun for the little ones. Stephen was a bit old for it but still enjoyed it. We probably won't do it again but sooooo glad we experienced it once. The HDDR is something we'll continue to see. Their friend chicken is outstanding!!!! And the strawberry shortcake!!! Lots of slapstick humor in the show.

And the kids are adorable! Love the one of the three of them on the bench!

:goodvibes Thanks! They were actually getting along

Hi  Welcome once again!!! Best of luck with the baby girl! Lots of fun, but way more expensive  I'll have to check out your TR when I get a spare minute:thumbsup2

Oh yes...I see your ticker now! Of course you have a WDW trip planned  Bill wants to do IoA/US, too. We keep saying we're going to do it, but just haven't made our way over.

Wish we could do that Eastern cruise, but the dates aren't good for my parents -they'll be going with us again ::yes::. I'll have to wave as we're getting off the ship

The campfire is for anyone, and you can purchase the kit right there at the Chuck Wagon...very easy and convenient.

:rotfl: You're totally off the hook if you do ;) College life is crazy! And not to mention you have your own TR plus another trip to plan for that's coming up very quickly!!!! :yay:

The campfire is probably one of those things that's here to stay! Your mom would love taking the grand kids, wouldn't she?!!

Hey Disney Queen,
Love the update! Adorable pictures, favorites...Jesse laughing so hard, the 3 generations, Chip kissing Mom, just to mention a few!

Loving the big hoop earrings as well, fabulous, proud members of the huge earring club!:cheer2:

I cannot get over how involved and fun that campfire looks, of course, it's so Disney so I should have expected it! Must have your Red Velvet recipe, when time allows. I will be making the blueberry cake again soon, for my OWN birthday!

Happy trails! erin

How bizarre they put you in the back of the restaurant and them forgot about you :sad2: I'm glad they have that as an option for FW, the only thing we saw there was the HDDR and the QS, not sure what that was called.

I had no idea they had that nice setup with the movie screen and benches, how awesome! We must have missed exploring a ton of area.

Glad the kids had so much fun with those rascally chipmunks :)

Wow, the campfire looks awesome. Love all your pics and the great interaction. I'd heard of it before but never seen pics. May have to meander over yonder from the WL and check it out.

We were cracking up laughing when Chip was hugging mom...he wouldn't let her go. Mom said he was stronger than he looked

Go big, or go home! :teeth:

Well, it's not really "mine"...came from Southern Living. But I'll be happy to share. And that's right...you have a birthday coming up. Gosh, you're getting old ;)

Who knows?! We always make a joke about restaurants sitting us FAR away from the other guest. Apparently we "look" loud  Crockett's Tavern is probably what you're referring to...it's their bar area that sells bar type food.

Glad the kids had so much fun with those rascally chipmunks :)

That resort is so big that unless you have a golf cart or ride the internal buses, you'll never see it all. Unless you have hours to walk

Nice job with the Fort Wilderness slang  All you need to do now is throw a "Howdy Y'all" into the mix and it'll be perfect ;)

If you have time, the campfire is a nice evening for the family.

Yay, I finally found your TR! I love your photography skills! It totally makes FW look amazing!

I have a lot to catch up on. I love your trip reports so it will be easy reading. We were at Disney the last week of May and stayed at POR. Your trip report from there helped me decide that one. We stayed 10 days and my DH thought that was entirely to long and the kids and I were crying when we had to leave. Can't wait to hear all about y'all's adventures.

I totally neglected to say Hello to Amanda and Roni :grouphug: Long time no "see" on the DIS!!

Hey! :wave2: I think I've finally gotten back into my "DIS routine". :rotfl: I'm even seriously considering doing a TR for our upcoming Oct trip.

Oh yes...I see your ticker now! Of course you have a WDW trip planned  Bill wants to do IoA/US, too. We keep saying we're going to do it, but just haven't made our way over.

My family really does enjoy IoA/US. If you have any Harry Potter fans in your family, then it really is a must. I'm beyond excited to see the new Potter stuff @ US when we go in October. :woohoo:

Wish we could do that Eastern cruise, but the dates aren't good for my parents -they'll be going with us again ::yes::. I'll have to wave as we're getting off the ship

I understand even though it sure would've been fun to meet up on the boat. :sad1: I know y'all have done the Dream, right? But, will this be y'all's 1st time on the Fantasy? I'm thinking so but I could have missed a trip in my DIS-absence. :lmao:

You're always so sweet, Jeanette. Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever read anything you've written that's super negative. You're a ray of sunshine! Are you like that at home, too??
 My DH would be :rotfl: if he read that.....but what can be be said negatively about any of your TRs...NADA my dear :cloud9:

Hey! :wave2: I think I've finally gotten back into my "DIS routine". :rotfl: I'm even seriously considering doing a TR for our upcoming Oct trip.
:dance3: AWESOME!!! I hope you do!!! :goodvibes

Sorry I fell behind yesterday without posting the early morning pics :upsidedow Our crazy lives just get in the way   Hopefully those will be up by noon.

Yay, I finally found your TR! I love your photography skills! It totally makes FW look amazing!

:wave2: Thank you! Dad and I make a pretty good team when it comes to pictures. He knows all the mechanics and the technical side of cameras, and I'm better at "framing" the shots.

By the way, you're going to LOVE, love, love POR!!! It was the first moderate we've done, and we totally adore it. The atmosphere is very relaxed and laid back with a peaceful river running through the middle :cloud9: While we didn't swim (too cold for us Southerners in January ), I did get plenty of pictures, and the pool area looked great!
Hope you have fun planning!!

 Hi there...again! I was just bragging about POR to pigletgirl (above). She's leaving in a couple of months for her first stay there. And glad I could be of assistance in helping you decide;) 10 days??!! :yay: Your hubby was ready to go??? Most are... If yours is like mine, they start crunching numbers in their head and realize what it's costing... and it almost causes heart failure :faint:

Hey! :wave2: I think I've finally gotten back into my "DIS routine". :rotfl: I'm even seriously considering doing a TR for our upcoming Oct trip.

Just "considering"???? How about deleting that word from the above sentence??? popcorn::

Did the Dream, but first time on the Fantasy!

 My DH would be :rotfl: if he read that.....

You should let him know about your positive and uplifting reputation on the Dis! ::yes::

Your kids are so stinkin cute Heather! :flower3: And yes there may be a new video, I will try and PM it to you my dear.

I love reading all about your family's trip! The pictures are amazing and everyone looks like they are having a fabulous time. I might add fort wilderness into the mix when I plan my next trip. Thanks for sharing!

Just "considering"???? How about deleting that word from the above sentence??? popcorn::

Great idea Heather, Amanda....:hyper:

You should let him know about your positive and uplifting reputation on the Dis! ::yes::

My DH has yet to have an issue with my DIS friends..other than enabling my changes :rotfl: He knows that my DIS peeps are a special sweet bunch :grouphug: He still will argue that I use my sweetness up at work :rolleyes2
