Too bad we couldn't book a wake up call from DCL on our 90th day in. Could you imagine ...."Hi! It's Mickey Mouse . Time to wake up, start the computer and book those Spa, Palos and Children's Club ressies.... Time's a wastin! LOL!" :lmao:

My 3am is this morning and I am NOT looking forward to getting up to do this. Has anyone had trouble getting ressies around 6-7 am instead? I just want to book a spa treatment, register dd into the club, book a parasail (hopefully not too hard to do since we are going to cc twice) and MAYBE Palo's lunch. Any advice?

My advice is get up at 3:00 :coffee: Some spa reservations were very limited when we booked ours at the 90 day mark at 3:00am

what 3 am booking?!

For CC members, you can book excursions, kids club, etc 90 days out - starting at 3 AM!!!! Insane!!! I thought it was bad booking Cindy's at 7 AM - now that's a piece of cake LOL!

online reservations open at 3:00 am for spa/excursions/Palo at 105/90/75 days prior to cruise. 105 for conceriage, 90 for Castaway Cay members, & 75 days for first timers.

DH says there is no way he is getting up to do it but then he wouldn't be doing the booking either way, will I get up at that time - I doubt it!!!

My main concern would be brunch. Those reservation times were disappearing fast at 90 days when our DIS group was booking them...all at 3 am.

My experience, when booking at 75 days (new to DCL) on our upcoming 4 night Wonder cruise.... I got up at 7 a.m. and got everything I wanted.

Perhaps I'm so new to this that what I wanted wasn't the most "popular" times or "popular" spa treatments, Palo seatings, etc... but I am happy! :thumbsup2

By the way.... awesome Mickey wake up call idea!!! :lmao:

Think of it as a sort of initiation...everyone needs to do it just once. There is something rather bonding with getting up like that. All of your fellow DISers are up and communicating with each other. Then at the strike of the Magic hour, we are all very busily getting our online ressies. After the dust settles and its still in the middle of the night, we compare notes. Finally, back to bed, but you are laying there fully awake pondering just what transpired and you start adjusting your cruise schedule accordingly. Good luck!

:coffee: like a initiation ritual of some sort... I did mine about 6 weeks ago or so, and I got all that I wanted for our 4 nighter, and I'm laying there trying to go back to sleep thinking... Did I really just haul myself out of a deep slumber to do that? no wonder my sister thinks that I am completely insane!! pixiedust:

When I saw this thread title I thought it meant you got unwanted wake up calls in your stateroom from mickey at 3am......I had a wake up call set for 7am when we were onboard...well Mickey called and woke us up....fine..thought that was it...but nope..he kept calling and calling and calling..my daughter was 2 1/2 then and was yelling in the phone "Mickey Mouse stop calling us!" she was SO mad at him LOL....finally had to call guest services to get them to stop calling us!!

We here it is 3:51 am and I just completed all my ressies - got everything I wanted at the exact times I wanted. I wasn't gonna get up, but Sophie (my cat) woke me up at 3:20 - she wanted to snuggle under the blankets its so cold. So up to the computer I went and typed away. Now my pillows and quilts are calling me back. It wasn't that bad - everything was very quick. Goodnight!

Are you guys going to leave anything for those first time cruisers stuck with the 75 day mark? :rotfl2: I'm on the east coast so that means I can start booking at midnight at 75 day mark?

I am a first time cruiser and I was up at 3am on the 20th (thanks to info I read here). I was able to get most of what I wanted but not all. There was not one single ressie available for the Cozumel dolphin encounter - my son was VERY disappointed.

:rotfl: So your cat was even concerned about you getting your resies in! :thumbsup2

That might be because they aren't stopping at Cozumel so they wouldn't let anyone book it? If you are still going there, book it through shoretrips.com. They are much cheaper and include a ticket to see the sea lion show. However, I called them to book the sea lion swim (did the dolphin royal swim 2 years ago - amazing) and they told me Dolphin Discovery said they couldn't book anything at all until June b/c it wasn't going to be open before that.
