26 days til Aulani - What's your best tip?

We are heading to Aulani in 3 weeks.
Booked 1bedroom OV - hoping for some great sunsets.

Trying to decide between Luau at the Sea Life Center or the Marriott.

Definitely doing the hole in the wall tour.

How are the crowds this time of year - be there Wed 11/6 to Wed 11/13?

Of course spending a day out at Pearl Harbor.

What was your best experience at the resort or off?

Do the On-line Check-in if you haven't yet. It makes the Check-in process unbelievably fast.

Crowds shouldn't be too bad that week either.

Pray that the government shutdown is over because the Arizona Memorial is closed now. I feel so sorry for those who had counted on visiting and may never be back to see it again.

Have an alternate plan for your Pearl Harbor day and don't have your heart too set on going out to the memorial. You can see it from the USS Missouri, along with a special presentation they have put together due to the shutdown, but don't have your heart too set on going to the actual memorial.

Don't over schedule your days.

We JUST returned home from 8 amazing days at Aulani. The ONLY thing on DH's sightseeing list was Pearl Harbor and the USS Arizona Memorial. We hoped and hoped it would reopen while we were there. But, no. (Thank you, bickering elected officials. ROFL!)

We DID tour the USS Missouri, which was interested and DH thoroughly enjoyed it. They (the private organization in charge of the Missouri) have set up a nice presentation about December 7th at the dock, looking across at the USS Arizona. DH found it to be good.
