23 Nights, 40 ADRS, too many food pics to count!! COMPLETED 01/22!

:woohoo: on it being less than a week to go - have a great day in Amsterdam!

Thank you, I'm really looking forward to seeing Amsterdam.

def joining in can't wait:banana:

Thanks for joining in.

Two more sleeps to go now before we head off. I've been waiting for this for so long, it seems a bit surreal that we'll actually be in Disney this Thursday!!
Spent today shopping for those last minute bits and pieces, and packing (I hate that part of travelling!). One more day at work for me, but DH already finished on Friday and won't be back in the office until the 4th October (I hate him;:lmao:)

AMAZING!!! HAve a great time, can't WAIT to read all the reviews!!

Absolutly signing on for this! Your reviews have always been so wonderful and helpful in the past.

I totally envy you for having 23 almost consecutive nights at Disney! Can't wait to read your reviews and drool over some Disney Food Porn. ;)

I'm in (and jealous!). Can't wait to read your reviews and see the pics. Many of our favorites are included in your trip - V&A, Jiko, Cheesecake Factory, Emeril's..... The only one I don't see is Bistro de Paris located in the France pavilion at EPCOT. It has been voted the best theme park restaurant in FL for 3 years in a row. But you have a FULL ADR schedule and it looks fantastic. Here's hoping you have as great a trip as your pre-TR sounds!

I can't wait for your reviews! I spent so much time fretting over one weeks worth of ADRs - I can't imagine having to plan 23 nights worth!

What a fantastic lineup -- both the restaurants and the hotels! Can't wait to read all about it. Have a safe journey.

Oh my! I'm in!! I know you don't want to hear this but I cant wait for you to go and come home to get started! :lmao:

Thank you. I'm really pleased you've found my reviews helpful.

Thanks. We've been planning (and saving) for this for nearly two years. The only problem with being away for such a long time is I really miss our dog, who we leave with my in-laws.

I know, I really wanted to try Bistro this year, and we considered trying it instead of V&A. However DH wanted to give the Queen Victoria Room a try, so I ended up dropping it. Next time though definitely.

Thank you. I've honestly spent weeks changing this ADR line up. Every time I made an ADR I've saved the confirmation mail to my disney dining folder. By the time I'd finished cancelling, rebooking, cancelling again etc I think I'd made something like 140 different ADRs throughout the course of the past 6 months!

What a fantastic lineup -- both the restaurants and the hotels! Can't wait to read all about it. Have a safe journey.

Thank you. We're really looking forward to trying the Beach Club and Contemporary. Beach club was my pick, and DH wanted to try the CR so we're both happy!

:rotfl:Thank you. I definitely don't want it to be time to come home. I'm hoping to write up the report while we're there, and hoping to get the first instalment done this weekend!

We're now finished work and ready to go! We're heading to Newcastle Airport tomorrow for our flight to Amsterdam at 1:20PM. Can't believe it's finally here:banana:

I'm so excited for you! Your trip slightly overlaps ours (we arrive on 9/30). I can't wait for you to get started!

Oh my gosh! I am so jealous! We did Universal on our trip last year and we had a blast. I highly recommend the Pear Cider at the Three Broomsticks. It's delish! Can't wait to read your reviews. Have a fabulous trip :goodvibes

Thank you. You'll just be starting your trip and we'll be nearly finished ours!

Thank you. I'm really looking forward to the Three Broomsticks and I love Pear cider we get in the UK so if it's similar to that , I may give it a try.

Ok, so we're finally heading to Orlando.

We spent Wednesday in Amsterdam which was an amazing city, and we definitely need to go back for a longer trip there. We toured the Anne Frank House which was amazing, it was even smaller than I imagined, then took a canal tour.

Couple of pics from Amsterdam.

The amount of canals and bicycles is mind-blowing!

We then flew back to London last night, although to the wrong airport as British Airways cancelled our Gatwick flight, so we had to get there from Heathrow on our own expense. Not happy about that as it cost £50 for the bus to Gatwick for our connecting flight to Orlando today.

I'm now sitting in the Virgin Clubhouse waiting for boarding to start. And I finally have some food porn to share, although from the Clubhouse not Disney.

My bellini (very good)

My Eggs Benedict and DH's smoked Haddock crepe in the background. Both were really tasty!

Flight is on time currently so we should be at the Beach Club for around 7pm, if all goes well.

I hope to get online this weekend and provide an update with some Disney food pics!
