The next 2 months are a good time to buy as a lot of people "remember" they have to pay dues and want to sell their contracts.

This was posted a few days ago on the thread. I'm pretty sure this means that we'll see $1 to $1.50 increases at a few resorts in MF. There's the underage assessment for 2024, plus a similar or higher raise for 2025, plus the usual.

And if DVC is getting hit like a lot of HOA's of condos/townhomes/apartments then insurance cost has increased a lot this year.

Hopefully less painful if the rest of the dues budget at those resorts fall on the lower side of % increases.

On the bright side at least your resorts are still in the $7/8 range for 2024.

I’m just reckoning with the fact that we’ve more than doubled our points this past year so even though I’ve slowly been getting GCs all year, attempting to alleviate the January payment, I’ve already paid more than last years dues and know I still have so much left ugh dues really are the killer of addonitis…wish I’d remember this feeling in the spring when I’ll inevitably want more points.

This will be my 1st time paying dues. I went from I only need 100 points to 753 and another 290 in the works I’m going to do monthly payments so I can be reminded every month about dues.
