2017 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival: August 31, 2017 - November 13, 2017

yes you can charge it to the room, but you have to put your magic band to the reading and then type in your PIN, using the gift card they just zap it with the hand held scanner.

Another silly question. What happens if the GC has $5 on it & an item costs $7. Do they let you pay the $2 in cash?

Went last September with my BFF from High School. We had a blast. Unfortunately she can't go this year. Started thinking about going solo!! I was kind of wavering so I checked the DVC site to see what was available for my dates. I figured I had no chance at my home resort of BWV. Imagine my surprise to find that there was a pool/garden view studio available for my dates in September!! Was this a sign that solo trip was meant to be? lol Going solo!!! Leaving the hubs and teens at home.
:offtopic: I LOVE YOUR AVATAR!!

Are you not able to charge to room if staying on property?
That's my preference but fwiw it makes a mess of the hotel bill when you are trying to reconcile it with your more normal charges... Still my preferred payment method though.

And then there was the Friday evening last year where the Tragic Band system went down and there was lots of whining because people who only planned on that method couldn't buy everything. NEVER put all your eggs in the Disney IT basket.

Can't wait to see what other artists will be revealed for the rest of the Eat to the Beat dates. The last two times we went, we caught Wilson Phillips and .38 Special, and both shows were pretty good.

Hoping to have someone decent there for September 3rd and the beginning of October! When does the schedule usuallly come out?

Thank God that's when I won't be there. Don't want to risk overhearing "We Built This City" if I can help it.
:rotfl: We saw them in 2015, they were pretty good. But I'm also happy they might not be there during our trip this year as I'd like to see someone different. We saw Sugar Ray last year, and he was really good. We were going to see Blues Traveler, but the hurricane messed up that for us. Past years we've saw Night Ranger (awesome) and Survivor.

We will be there during this time, and when I saw all I thought, was that I really didn't want to hear that song. :crazy2:

Hopefully someone more interesting will then there after them. I'm hoping for Los Lobos, but I suspect they wont be there when I am. :(

EDIT: Just looked at .38 Special's website, they will be there September 28 & 29 this year.

EDIT 2: Big Bad Voodoo Daddy has a tour date October 20 in Clearwater, there is enough time span between the show before and after the Clearwater date that they could possible play at Epcot.

Looking over the past Eat to the Beat shows, most of the performers aren't my cup of tea. I would love to see Los Lobos or Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, but with my luck, Air Supply will be there when I am, and I'll have "I'm All Outta Love" stuck in my head for several days. (No offense to any Air Supply fans.)
