2017 DISNEYLAND RESORT HALLOWEEN TIME / MICKEY'S HALLOWEEN PARTY THREAD!

Does anyone know what the dreamsicle beignets are? Are they orange/vanilla?

Glad to see they're still gonna have the s'mores churro! We didn't get to try it a few weeks ago.

Is anyone doing the Happiest Haunts tour on Friday? Curious about the format this year and looking for a review.

If there is anyone who for whatever reason has an extra Halloween party ticket for 9/25 please let me know! My friends purchased theirs already and I didn't have a chance to before it sold out :(

Thanks!

Have you tried actually calling and asking the ticket line? I just planned a last min trip for 9/27 and it's sold out online but just got tickets from Dis over the phone! Apparently they hold a certain amount to sell over the phone. Good luck!

I'm surprised by how extensive the list of Halloween foods & drinks are!! I'm THRILLED they confirmed the poison appletini at Carthay (my BFF will LOVE that)!! Admittedly I am disappointed in the beignets, for some reason I thought they usually did Pumpkin Beignets for fall? Is it too early or are they trying something new with the Dreamsicle ones this year?

Creamsicle/dreamsicle flavor sounds like a summer flavor, definitely not fall. I don't think I'll be tempted by the seasonal beignets, though I'm sure we will still get the regular variety.

I'd rather they stuck with the blackberry beignets if they aren't bringing out the pumpkin ones. Agreed that dreamsicle does not sound like a fall flavor. I may still give them a try, but I won't go out of my way to make sure I do.

At least the blackberry ones turned you funny colors (my fingers were blue for hours even after several washings, haha!) and that could be argued as Halloween fun in that way.

I've greatly missed the pumpkin beignets, though. I loved when I got them in 2015 and was informed they had actual pumpkin in the mix rather than just (shudder) pumpkin spice. Hate pumpkin spice. Love pumpkin. Didn't even bother with the butterscotch ones.

Pumpkin beignets would be so much better! Guess they figured it has orange color it would work !! Excited to try some of the treats, not much on super spicy stuff though.

Can't wait to get to DL! Two weeks and counting!!

Looking forward to reports about party on Friday, we are going 9/29!

SO many great things on that list!!! Minus the dreamsicle beignets. What the heck.

Ugh I am super bummed about the dreamsicle beignets! That sounds gross. It'll be my first Disneyland trip at Halloween time and I was really looking forward to pumpkin or even butterscotch.

Same here! I love pumpkin so I was really hoping they would have the pumpkin flavor.

When I went last Xmas they had candy cane and regular Beignets on offer so I hope they do the same this Halloween! I'll be there in about a week if no one has reported back on the Beignets situation I will!

I watched for the weather for next week and it's going to be in the upper 70's

I had the poison appletini at Carthaay last year and it was delicious! It was a fabulous meal all around by that drink put it over the top. Seriously a dangerous drink because its so yummy that you drink it a little faster and then it sneaks up on you. I am a light weight though. I also still have the glowing apple that came in it....now I wish I had one right now

Sounds wonderful! We're doing Carthay for an early dinner before the party really kicks off at 7pm (it's out only chance & we were gonna do drinks there anyway!). So excited before SUPER excited now. What a perfect kick off to Halloween Fun a Poison Appletinni will be... :stir:

I remember thinking it was pricey but saying to myself "oh, why not! This is a birthday trip-treat yourself".

I'm thinking it was in the 12-15 range. Drinks in restaurants where I live tend to be in the 10-12 range so it was probably 12-15 if I still remember thinking it was expensive (as opposed to the average cost) but I was willing to buy one anyway.

Edited to ADD: whoops I quoted the wrong person-sorry
