We are going in four months and checked dining reservations last night and surprisingly there are a lot still available even for when we are going.

For a party of 9?

Because there were reservations I wanted at the beginning of our trip that I had to move to the end because there already was no availability for them on our first couple days.

I think the problem is with people booking three different rooms or more to get the room they want and then dumping once they get the free dining. I think that is what the main gripe is.

Agree or booking ADR's without having a vacation planned.

Does Crystal Palace offer bacon, sausage, potatoes, and that sort of thing for breakfast? Their menu doesn't specify exactly what is on their breakfast buffet. My son is allergic to eggs so breakfast is not usually a good TS meal for him unless there are meats and potatoes offered. Thanks, and sorry to be (thought I'd break up the tension in the room )

Yes, they have sausage and bacon on the buffet, and breakfast potatoes, as well as fruit and cereal. As other PP mentioned, I would note it on your ADR, and let the server know when they seat you. I have seen them have people walk around the buffet at other restaurants like 1900 PF with the guests, pointing out which foods were free of their allergens. For others in your party who are not allergic, the puffy French toast is delicious! Enjoy bouncing with Tigger!

Could we please just get back to the excitement of FD?
I don't need it because I have been booking BB since 2008, but I still follow this thread every year because it's fun and exciting!
Please don't spoil it going back and forth about pre-booking or not. It happens every year and the back and forth sucks the fun out of the thread.

There isn't really a "typical" time per se. Last year it was around 4:30 EDT (EST). Someone said it was around midnight in the year or two prior.

Well I'm still hoping. I booked 5 tickets on for only $250 each from Bangor Maine for Sept 28-Oct 4. Over $100 less each than I was finding before. Hoping they drop the FD on Monday. With the airline I was able to hold the tickets and prices for 7 days for $44.95. Let's me take time to think and see if dining comes out. If it doesn't I can cancel and only out $44.95.

my niece is allergic to peanuts and tree nuts. I note that in the ADRS, Disney is wonderful about food allergies; the chef always walks the buffet with my sister and tells her what items to avoid. For plated meals the chef comes out and goes over the menu with my sister.

Good to know. My mom is very allergic to shellfish. I noted it when I made our ADR's but she's always a little nervous eating out because of it.

Everyone should book how they can and how they like! I am just glad i managed to get the Poly this November....for whatever reason its been pretty booked for the first 3 weeks, which is rare.....DVC must be affecting it...
