Does Crystal Palace offer bacon, sausage, potatoes, and that sort of thing for breakfast? Their menu doesn't specify exactly what is on their breakfast buffet. My son is allergic to eggs so breakfast is not usually a good TS meal for him unless there are meats and potatoes offered. Thanks, and sorry to be:offtopic: (thought I'd break up the tension in the room :goodvibes)

When I went years ago, they had waffles, pancakes, bacon, sausage, everything you could think of for breakfast! I think he should be just fine! But, to be sure, I would call Disney ahead of time and let them know about his allergy. They are AMAZING at helping with allergies!

It's disappointing that nothing opened up this morning but on the other hand I am kind of glad it's probably going to open for everyone the same day. I don't know if I could stand seeing other people getting to book it and having to wait for it to open to everybody :o Oh well. Looks like I will be staying up through the night on Sunday!

UGH!! So, will the US be the same as the UK??? Only a free breakfast if we stay at AofA? :guilty:
Remember that this is 2017 dining plan for the UK offer, not this years. So that change could be a possible change for next year. So don't worry! I think that 1 breakfast thing at the values for the UK has already been happening in previous years, so it might not ever happen here in the US offer.

The only thing the UK offer is foretelling is it looks like some changes to what you get on the 2017 dining plan. But that won't be this year, the 2016 plan is already out and will not be changed.

my niece is allergic to peanuts and tree nuts. I note that in the ADRS, Disney is wonderful about food allergies; the chef always walks the buffet with my sister and tells her what items to avoid. For plated meals the chef comes out and goes over the menu with my sister.

After the Game of Thrones premiere, we'll all be ready for combat! pirate:

For those who are going anyway--WHY?? are you following this board????

I want Free Dining and I will not Book ahead of time expecting to add it on later, For those who do book ahead, there is NO guarantee that you will get any discounts if you book early.
It will only lesson the chance for Disney to have rooms or resorts available because they are all booked up and there is no need to offer them.
Wow! I'm pre-booked because I'm going regardless of FD. My dates are not flexible and I have a particular resort and room that I wanted. I don't plan my vacations around other people's hopes of obtaining a promotion. But that doesn't mean I won't apply FD to my reservation if I can....that's why I'm on this thread. Have a magical day!

Thanks! We've been to Chef Mickey's for breakfast and they had a huge spread but I couldn't tell by CP's menu if they have other things besides the omelet bar and pastries. Disney IS amazing with allergies.

Thanks to you as well! My son is also allergic to peanuts/tree nuts, among a host of other things, but usually bacon and or sausage and potatoes for breakfast are "safe" foods for him although we always note his allergies on the ressie and appreciate the chef meeting with us personally to make sure he is safe.

Doesn't mean you will get a Discount, I go debt free also, but I kept it in my Bank until the Promo comes out and pay then, still Debt free.
I've never been told that I can't have the discount. I would love for someone to be able to tell me that they couldn't apply a promo. Not someone they know, or something they heard. Kind of like the person that once went to Disney with a promo that got them unlimited tickets and food......oh, yes, I've heard that one before too. I book and wait. If I can't get that resort I don't pout or blame others that have booked. I switch resorts. Keep it magical people. Keep it magical.

Just because we can go without free dining (or any other promotions) doesn't mean that's how it has to be. If I'm buying something from Walmart and it happens to go on sale, should I not buy it on sale since I was planning on buying it anyone? Do I HAVE to pay full price since I was already planning on it?

Nope. And same goes without vacations. Disney or not, I book and then stalk for a better deal. Better to have the room just in case then be out of luck when it's booked later. I can pay full price if we have to, but I'd much rather pay a bit less if the opportunity arises.

So, paying no mind to the fact that it's NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS when and how I book my vacation, there are some examples for you.

I'm booked too!! :ssst::ssst: Call me crazy!!! :flower1:

Thanks! Looking at the pictures on Disney the Caribbean room looks nicer but that could just be pictures.

We stayed at CBR last November, and LOVED it! Rooms were wonderful, we are a family of 5 so the murphy bed was great! We would for sure go back to CBR again in a heartbeat!

Honestly, there is NO GUARANTEE ANYONE WILL GET ANY DISCOUNT

I think a lot of people are well aware it doesn't give you a better shot at free dining. Along with "I'm going regardless of free dining or not" I also want to throw in there that my ADR date has already come and gone. We are a party of 9, that had pretty specific requests as far as dining reservations go. If I didn't have that extra +10 days on my ADR day it would have been EXTREMELY hard, if not impossible to get those "must do" reservations we needed.

Im doing a surprise trip for my Hubby! he has no idea I have been saving for years to do something special for him! I included my best friend in on it so she know but I will be telling him most likely a few hours before we leave lol plan to film it too, wish I was surprised with a trip! lol It's very hard to pull one over on me though as I find out everything lol. But She will love it!
How exciTing! I am doing the same for my daughter and vlogging it all!

We are going in four months and checked dining reservations last night and surprisingly there are a lot still available even for when we are going.
