2015 Annual Christmas Gift List Ideas for TEEN GIRLS

My teen likes the beauty boxes I have sent her. Some neat and useful stuff for me that she didn't want. Mostly just beauty items, but hair stuff and sometimes jewelry. I'll be asking her, but I might renew it for next year as one of her gifts.

I remember when I was 16 my dad got me a nice aquamarine necklace & earrings set for Christmas, which I still have. He also bought me my first nice "grown up" watch when I was around that age.

My DD (12 now, but was 11 last Cmas), has really enjoyed the Boodle Box subscription boxes she's received this year. They've been really fun to open every month and well worth the money spent on that gift. I'm thinking I may do a 3 month subscription for my niece this year.

OK. My DD got her November box yesterday. Inside she received a pair of brown & cream boot socks/leg warmers (they are reversible), 3 really cute beaded bracelets (turquoise, brown & gold), a wishbone charm necklace, a beaded stretchy headband and some button covers. Also some fall candy was in there. They boxes are usually themed around the holiday a bit, even if just in color. We have really enjoyed the boxes a lot. You can always just do a three month subscription just to be sure. Or I believe you can also just order 1 box as a gift. That would be a good way to try it out.

I did the BoodleBox for DD last year for Christmas. I did the box for teens. She has LOVED getting that box every month and she's received really great stuff!
I did Posh Pak last year? Have you ever done that? Is Boodle better?

I think I did a 3 month of posh, but like the beautybox better. Just may be our tastes, but yes, cheaper was also why we stayed with the beautybox. Hope that helps.

We are a cable less family. Having used several platforms to access Hulu, Netflix, and HBO Now, I highly recommend Apple TV. It is much more responsive then the others. Connects more quickly, never buffers, etc... We thought we had internet issues until we bought Apple TV. Unless money is a big issue, I'd go with it over Roku or a Fire stick.
Love Apple TV. Our new generation Apple Tv will arrive Monday. Cant wait.

For those of you considering the Clarisonic Mia 2, I just got the Conair version at Costco for $80. It is in a combo pack with the foot brush. The Conair doesn't get as good reviews for durability, but I figured if it breaks I can return it to Costco and at least I'll know if she likes it and uses it.

And another idea which came from everyone's recommendation of the subscription boxes...There is a phone case of the month club, which is perfect for my girl who always is looking for new phone cases.
Thanks I saw that co air version at Costco and wondered about it. Good point on the return. I did get 21 pilot concert tux yesterday but she knows about them so no real surprise. Am considering getting myself an apple watch and casually asked dd her thoughts she made fun of it so scratch that

Yes, my DD is also asking for concert tickets! She really wants to go to the Jingle Ball, but the tix are crazy expensive so that won't be happening this year.

DD decided she'd like a new straightening iron or one of those fancy curling things for her long hair. Any suggestions on either of those? We have a Chi straightener now, it's just old and needs to be replaced. Wondering if we should try another brand.

Anyone have any recommendations for some board type games to buy for my 14 yr old dd to play with friends. We had a Halloween party over the weekend for them and I heard them playing Never have I and Truth or Dare so I was thinking something along that line with questions that they would like. They used to play apples to apples but are not into that one anymore

For those interested in the Clarisonic Mia, there is a 50% off sale but it ends today. here is the site and enter code GMA50 at checkout. Hope this helps:

I love my babyliss straightener :)

Groupon has beats in the good sections today. I got DD a pair for her "thing you want". (We do want, need, wear, read gifts for each kid) So far I have her wear (Mickey shirt from TrenD she picked out on our trip) and the beats. I think for her need I'm getting her an alarm clock. She has a horrible time getting up in the morning.

Thanks for this. I got the Wireless in ear Beats for DD for $139 and 6% cash back going through ebates. Close enough to what I wanted to spend without having to wait in crazy lines at crazy hours.
